So what Synonym for Violence will Smash 4 be named for?

The Japanese title will be something involving Xs but what will the international title be? Melee and Brawl are in use and Sony took All-Stars and Battle Royale in one fell swoop.

- Crash

I like Ruckus but think it'll either be Clash or Crash.

If they continue on with the 'fight' synonyms, then I think Rumble works the best. "Multi-Man Rumble" sounds well enough, unlike something like "Clash" or "Strife".
I'm partial to seeing the Wii U version be Super Smash Bros. Universe and the 3DS version be Super Smash Bros. Reflections myself. And I wouldn't at all mind the game just being called Super Smash Bros. 4, with the logo having something like this:

I didn't like the name Brawl for SSB3 and I wouldn't mind if they took the name in an entirely new direction for SSB4.
These violence synonyms seem a little goofy to me. Also makes them sound less epic than they could.

That being the case, Universe is the suggestion that appeals to me the most so far.
However if we get another violence synonym then Rumble is a pretty good suggestion IMO.

Wasn't SSB3 called "Super Smash Brothers X" in Japan?
Will be interesting to see what they go with next.

Affray? Really? It almost sounds like Afraid. Super Smash Bros. Afraid.

I guess it's fitting since a lot of people are afraid of cutting/replacing characters... and then they jump into a butthurt affray when the final roster is revealed.

Not likley, 4 is basically the Japanese equivalent of thirteen. There was a lot of speculation that the PS4 would be named something else because of it.

Rumble (SSBR) or Clash (SSBC) seem likely to me, and I like the rhyming aspect of Clash. Maaaaaybe Fray (SSBF). Perhaps Universe (SSBU) if they want a U name, but I think the 3DS and U versions will have the same title.

Personally I think they should go with Brouhaha. =P Only downside there is it has the abbreviation SSBB like Brawl. =C

Actually, Nintendo turned down "Nintendo All-Star Battle Royal Smash Bros."at some point during development of the first game. Miymoto named it that as a tentative title in an interview.

It seems that they can't not copy anything.
