So he's still playing Mario. Looking for advice on how to improve. Do this, do that. Stop this, stop that. Learn this, learn that.

And please don't just come in here and say "You guys suck" because WE ALREADY KNOW and that's why this is here... to get better.

Some of the older matches are obviously... worse? They help show how far he's come though, if at all.

Stop doing Dash attacks...sometimes theyre good but most of the times they arent.

More Uair shffl and Nair shffl approaches mixed with some fine WD and DD moves

Also more Jab to DSmash or Jab to Grab ...

Good stuff there. Everything Super Mario said is correct, but I would also add a little edgueguarding by using the Bair off of the edge of rolling from the edge. You could have had many faster kills if you had dropped to the ledge is all I'm sayin'.

O ...well correct.....he forgot to Edgeguard? oh well...

well heres a little trick against marth :
Roll to the Edge and Light Shield right next to it and aim the Light shield slightly so it points towards the edge and when marth tries to come up with UP-B youll edgehog immediatly and he wont be able to come up

and ...yeah just as Dr. PeePee said use the Bair... or Cape^^

I'm judging this based on the newest match.

Not bad, he was good at applying pressure and spacing; advanced techs are decently merged into his game.

Do less SHFFLed Fairs and do more Bairs and Uairs in it's place. Fair is a bad approach move due to the long startup time. Work on getting in more grabs (which is hard against marth, yeah) as grabbing is your main gateway to combos.

Use mario's Jab. You can link it flawlessly into tilts, grabs, or a downsmash. Plus it is very quick to come out with okay range(as far as mario goes anyway), and it can often throw the opponent off-guard.

I would suggest working in full-jumped double-aerial approaches (such as Dair to Bair/Uair/Nair or Uair to Uair/Nair/Bair.) but going above Marth isn't a good idea... that's where he wants you to be.

Take in the other people's edgeguarding tips, smooth out some tech skill wrinkles, and you should be fine.

Also, switching to a better character would not make you a Tier slave, you should play whoever fits you best after trying everyone, even if they are high/low teir.

Like super Mario said, less dash attacks. Mario can't afford the lag punishment from that attack. Instead, dash cancel with a crouch and dsmash instead of a dash attack. It's just as fast, less ending lag, and hits at the right angle to KO. The rest has pretty much been said.

Watched the match against Ice Climbers just now, Dair is one of your better approaches when Popo and Nana aren't seperated.

Eh Matador, I know quite a few people that have that delicious image... also, I really like the color green.
