So, I'm pretty sure I'm a bad kisser, any tips?

Long story short, last night I hooked up with a girl for the first time in... oh, five years I think, and I really had trouble connecting. I don't know if she was being nice or just a skank but, after the first 10 seconds of lip action, she shoved her tongue down my throat, and I kind of had no idea what was going on, so I just went with it. The kiss was relatively short, because I was dropping her off with her friend and it was as she was getting out of the car, so I'm just going with the worst and assuming she broke it off early because I have no idea how to kiss.

I want to avoid situations like that, where the girl leads and I follow. That shows inexperience, and I'm pretty self conscious about that kind of stuff. Should I just kind of do my own thing? You know, experiment until I'm comfortable, even if it may ruin a few hookups?

I really want to nail the art of kissing. All the girls I'm friends with, which is about two hundred times the amount I've hooked up with, all tell me about how kissing is so important and how it can steer the course of any relationship or future hookup.


I'm 18, by the way, I can post pics of myself and her if you really want to see them.

the first kiss you should feint, and kiss her cheek instead. Then grab the small of her back and pull her in quick for a little bit of tounge. If she doesn't resist then put your other hand behind her ear and kiss vERY SOFT, and throw her down on the bed, if she does then pull back and take it a bit slower

once you're on the bed you should subtly get to second base before taking the clothes off

Just make sure you're doing something with your hands. Stroke the hair, or rub her back, or something. It'll make it that much more sensual. :)

A girl did this little number to me and i thought it was pretty cool. She reached out with her tongue and licked my top front row of teeth. Front to back not side to side as if she was trying to "lick her chops." I've tried it on three and only one claimed to not like it...but she was a ***** anyways.

Just another trick to throw in the ol' bag.

we were in agreement in that i was comparing the advice here to a roofie. (even tho in reality it's not half as effective....mabe even detrimental)

yeah i was thinking about adding that. but because it was in the context of a joke i decided not to.

So dont use roofies or the ideas in this thread, you're probably better off anyways...
