So Cal smashfests this week (805/LA)

So after going to Mango juice I've decided I want to get better at melee. However I don't own a cube or melee yet so i can't really practice

Anyone want to smash with a melee noob this week? My place (Ventura) or yours.

Also anyone interested in learning SSB, I can probably teach you thing or two about that game...

btw to anyone trying to train him:
he's a really good ssb64 player, he started playing melee like 2 weeks ago, he doesnt do regular dumb noob stuff, he doesnt have too many bad habits. but his tech skill sucks and he has a lot to learn about SSBM. but once he does hes gonna **** i think

I totally would, man, but Ventura's a b**** of a drive. I'm unemployed = I'm cheap and don't want to spend money on gas. Hmmm ...

I might go to the March 28th SCSA event in Irvine. If you're willing to drive to the Culver City area, we can either play Melee at my place, or you can ride with me to Irvine ... or some combination of the two. I and a friend are looking to get started on Brawl, but we're totally never giving up Melee.

I used to play that...until I found out there was a meta-game for it. It was also the first time I was introduced to the word "meta-game". I just wanted it to be like the show. :[
