After being involved in this topic I thought of trying some of my roommate's eggnog, but alas, he just drank the last of it. At least he liked it.

P.S. I know JS, he's up to his eyeballs in *****.
I also saw a recipe for "Eggless Eggnog". Those links are pretty cool, I suggest all Eggnog Enthusiasts check them out.Orange Non-alcoholic Eggnog Float
4 eggs
6 tablespoons sugar
5 1/2 cups fresh orange juice, chilled
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 quart vanilla ice cream
1 quart ginger ale, chilled
Beat the eggs and the sugar until light (no separation necessary here). Stir in the orange and the lemon juice. Place small scoops of ice cream in the punch bowl. Pour the ginger ale against the sides (inside, of course) of the bowl (this is done to preserve as much of the carbonation as possible). Add the orange juice picture slowly, stirring gently. Serve immediately. This will make about 30 servings.
i got more in the time it took you to type that than you've gotten in your life. You're 19 years old and still ain't getting any. Enough said.
3 second sex? That is sad man. But seriously, we should just stop this right now because frankly, I don't care to argue in such an immature way.i got more in the time it took you to type that than you've gotten in your life.
oh yeah... mmm eggnog
Eggnog kicks a**.Why does everything have to be about sex?
Doesn't anyone like the girl for their personality, talents, etc. I for one, do. I choose to respect women. (even if they don't themselves)
Of course.Eggnog kicks a**.
Hey, I said I didn't want to continue an immature argument, I never said I was mature.i love how he prefaces his shot at my maturity with his own "immature argument" that he then immediately speaks about.
Whoa, sorry to forget about you!I just had the eggnog milkshake at jack in the box. Is that anything close to real eggnog or have I been shammed?
I don't know about you, but I don't eat Cinnamon or Pumpkins on Christmas. Where is the ham flavor?Flavored Egg Nog, including Cinnamon, Pumpkin, Gingerbread, and Sugar Cookie!
That is why you fail.I don't know about you, but I don't eat Cinnamon or Pumpkins on Christmas.
It's like a very rich, sweet, creamy milk. Mate, you haven't lived till you've done the following.I've never tried it. Tell me why I should break my streak of eggnog free christmas's? What does it taste like?
No...doesn't have to be.So is this the new PRoom holiday thread?
Traditional Eggnog Recipe
12 eggs, separated
6 cups milk
2 cups heavy/ thickened cream
2 cups bourbon
1+ ½ cups sugar
¾ cup brandy
2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
In a large bowl and using a mixer, beat the egg yolks together with the sugar for approx 10 minutes (you want the mixture to be firm and the colour of butter).
Very slowly, add in the bourbon and brandy - just a little at a time.
When bourbon and brandy have been added, allow the mixture to cool in the fridge (for up to 6 hours, depending on how long before your party you're making the eggnog).
30 minutes before your guests arrive, stir the milk into the chilled yolk mixture.
Stir in 1+ ½ teaspoons ground nutmeg.
In a separate bowl, beat the cream with a mixer on high speed until the cream forms stiff peaks.
In yet another bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the egg white mixture into the egg yolk mixture.
Gently fold the cream into the egg mixture.
After ladling into cups, garnish with the remainder of the ground nutmeg.
Serves: 8.
