Snake's new 3.0 side-b

Tranq travels pretty quickly, so it's not uncommon for it to happen to go through you slightly in the timespan of a single frame and then hit you. In the Leffen example, he actually side-b'd in that direction, wasn't turned around.

How difficult would it be to give Snake an interchangeable side-B? As a casual Nikita was one of my favorite moves mostly because I was a huge fan of Bionic Commando: Rearmed. Even if it's not at all a viable way to switch moves, like holding side-B for 30 seconds without being hit I'd still love to see it return in some form.
