snake vs lucario

well apparently most of the people in the lucario boards seem to think that lucario has a slight advantage against snake(or that it is at least an even matchup). But I have my doubts so I decided to ask here at the snake boards.

who has the advantage in this match up?

Well, Lucario can really juggle Snake around at first. It's pretty hard for Snake to approach. But, if the Snake uses defensive tactics, he can destroy Lucario. It's pretty hard for Lucario to avoid being camped.

Also, Snake can really edgeguard Lucario quite well. All he really needs to do is keep the up smash going. Lucario can't do anything about it. But, when Snake gets knocked off, he can do what he pleases because there isn't much Lucario can do when Snake uses his cypher.

I guarantee that every Lucario player will say that he/she will have a lot of trouble getting around well placed grenades. Hence why I said that camping Lucario with Snake is a great choice.

But, I don't like camping so I get myself beat up by all of Lucario's attacks.

yeah I usually have no trouble with him on the stage, but when he is edge guarding it almost feels like a lost stock. Its usually the main reason I lose to some snakes.

Lucario can aura-sphere juggle Snake almost as well as Snake can gimp Lucario's recovery. Lucario's abuse Snake's landing lag (with AS juggling). Lucario also FP chaingrabs snake, and while not as easy as Bowser, tries to combo snake.

Its pretty even but people often main Lucario because he does well against Snake AND MK. This makes him a useful character, although not a counterpick.
