Snake Date: Double Tuesday

This is the best update on the dojo so far. The gameplay clip was great: we got to see some real gameplay as well as the bubble shield. In addition, I am now more confident that the Mario tornado is his down air. The communication clips were great as well. The one thing that has me worried is when the communication will be triggered. Will it be during the match? Or maybe it's an intro? I'm very eager to find out.

Also, Snake's sleeper hold = win.

I'm more excited about a stage with walls than anything else. The variety of stages continues to impress me. Now they just need a stage with a ceiling (Bowser's Castle ftw)

This update is definetely WIN. Not only does Snake look badass, but I think I saw a bit of information in the Wario convo...Something about flying by farts? Could this be his UpB?

- Mario picked up THE BOX and threw it...is it an item? Or something similar to Wario's Bike, a B move that can be picked up by others?

- Zero Suit is...apparently really fast?

- Wario's Bite B Move is confirmed to have an aftereffect of 'garlic'. This may mean a slowdown, or damage over time, like a Flower.

- Wario recovers with yet more gas moves, joy of all fukken joys

- HOW DOES THAT MINE WORK?! Also he was standing on a beach in Delfino, looks nice.

- Did Snake just have a ... time paradox intro?!

Oh, and this gameplay looks breath-taking. Every hit feels really cool, and it doesn't seem too diffrent from Melee.

watching the gameplay, i reckon that mario's dair is the tornado rather than an aerial down b.
also, i think that the move where snake strangles (first shown with pics of ike...hehe ****...) is his side b move, because he lays mario down. What grab does that?

hmmm...I think I can rember her voice in the english version...but it kinds of vague...eh oh well...I never really played the MGS series any way XD

I think it just the means of Translating it.....although it doesnt make sense for the UK and Ireland not to have it...

I like the fact they gave Snake a bit of Naked Snake's personality (when he wanted to eat Yoshi and when he thought it would be a good idea to take his clothes off).

I like how they put in one of the Metal Gear themes and Metal Gear Ray in. I hope they got the Zanzibar Land theme.

If Metal Gear characters appear as trophies, that will be great.

I found the reason why the videos sometimes don't work for some. It appears that Nintendo now has the videos stored at the official Nintendo of Japan site. The Snake video alone is already about 4.5 MB for the Flash 8 and 7.5 MB for the Flash 7 version, making it a total of about 12 MB. And that is just for one language. And that's not counting in the three codec videos.

The site already is over 200 MB, so in order to keep the site up, they need to host the movies somewhere else.
