Smash Champion
OK, so on the Peach boards they were talking about using the platform on smashville to get a free USmash on certain characters from an air release. After a while, I thought, 'This could be a way of getting lightning kicks with Zelda'. Here's what you do:
You have to grab your opponent on the platform of Smashville, and you must be facing the way that the platform is moving. Assuming that they're small enough, all you have to do is wait for them to be released. Once released, the platform will chase them through their release, and allow you to be close enough for a lightning kick. If they're too big to force an air release on them, then you'll have to grab them off the edge instead to get an air release. BTW, it's worth noting that in some cases where lightning kick followups are impossible you can still get a different move to follow up, such as Uair. These will be listed as well.
So far, the following characters can be followed up upon their air release.
Can we force an air release?: No
Lightning Kick
Can we force an air release?: Yes
Bair Lightning Kick (though you can do this on normal ground as well, so it's not really worth the effort...)

All in all, this is extremely situational (especially when we can't force an air release), but then again most Zelda-specfic ATs are... But still, anything that nets you a free lightning kick is worth trying out every 40 or so matches...
