Also... Since this is offical FC practice, one idea I'd like to try is working on the match ups for each persons pool. If you suck fighting foxes or falcos and there's one in your pool, we run a fox and falco train on you to help you out.

Lets try to get each MI person out of the first round of pools.
in that case, give me the falcon and sheik train. bring on the marth killers.

who here has the toughest pool anyway?

White doesn't deal DD...it'd have to be red or maybe black. With black you can say she has a disease which would work.

In either case, i'll need Doc practice, CF practice, peach practice, and ganon practice. Then there are two random ppl in my pool who i can't really tell anything about them.

or maybe it's because you can break their chairs... but yeah, I'm also really looking forward to this. Plus it'll be our best practice for FC (which i also can't wait for).

yeah, that way we can have some 7-9 TVs more setups, 1+ laptops, and no power. Glad it's back. Hope it stays that way. Really looking forward to tomorrow.

gaylord, how gay.

is there going to be enough outlets/space for 7-9 setups in his apartment? I know last time we were struggling with space with only 3 or 4 setups...

We were struggling last time because Cameron had to have 3 different outlets and some people had to have the weird AC adaptor thing. It's taken care of however.

I'll be bringing a plug strip btw, it'll have 8 outlets, 2 for my computer, then that leaves 6 for cubes & TVs. Oh, and just a reminder, ppl, please bring VCRs if you can (and either let me know, or just bring VHS tapes, preferably T120s...)

Korora, plz tell me you managed to get a composite y cable. (i don't really know where to get one for video, only audio). and if not, make sure you bring just a standard av cable so that if there are two tvs there w/ av out, then you can still record anyway. And if you do find a composite Y-cable (or can buy one), plz get me one, i'll buy one from you if it's not too expensive. (plz bring the recipt if it's new, so i know how much you paid for it...) if it's used, we'll negotiate a price. Thanks. Can't wait for tomorrow.

They're the same cable. There's no difference between a composite audio cable and a composite video cable except where you plug it in.

I'm planning on stopping by circuit city to get one before I head to Andrew's tomorrow, if I have the cash I'll pick up an extra one.

yeah, thanks, i dunno how much they are, but i don't want to spend more than $10. and i heard they weren't the same.... something about resistance... so, if you can get them, well try one, and then if it doesn't work, you can just return the one for me. I really hope they work the same. I just read some guys article once that said they don't have the right resistance for video, but it was a somewhat old article, but i don't think it's changed much... but you're probably right, i'm just being worrysome.

We got a composite audio y-cable at school this year for recording smash. Labeled for audio, I couldn't see any difference in the video quality compared to the normal cables. Unfortunately, somebody else has that cable right now.
