Job 38: Add a female character and why she’d be a good fit for the roster.

While Peach and Zelda would be the more obvious choices, I’ll go with Nana from the game Ice Climber as we don’t have a truly obscure fighter yet. Additionally, I like ice based characters. Note: I don’t think the N64 could handle a tag team, so Nana is by herself.
Job 39: Add a multiplayer game mode.
I‘ll go with Tourney mode, but the player is able to add a feature for 2v2.

Job about Female fighters:

(I know this would be off-the-wall pick for a female character)
Lip (Panel De Pon)
Lip is main protagonist of 1995 "Satellaview" Super Famicom game Panel de Pon, who is a flower fairy that uses her flower wand that can puzzle blocks during fights.
Her quest is to defeat the evil king Thanatos, who revealed to be her mother, Cordelia at the end of the game.
Her game got a lot of localizations in form of reskins like Tetris Attack or Pokemon Puzzle League for typical example. Sadly that her game is kinda niche comparing to other series represented in smash, making her as obscure Nintendo rep.

Lip could have some moveset potential like using blocks to attack the opponents or even swap the places with opponents. She could even use her garbage block to squish the opponents.
Overall, she would be lightweight fighter and she would be little bit smaller than Ness in game. She would have zoner playstyle in SSB64 Reloaded.

I know she would be weird choice, but at least we could get a "out of field" fighter in this game by adding Lip to the game.

Honestly, there are many great choices, and I’ll go with Mewtwo for this one just to complete the tetrad of scrapped SSB64 fighters.

Job 45: Adjust 1P Game
For this one, my changes will be simple.
Stage 1: Zelda or Marth can also be fought, and Temple and Archanea are options for stages.
Stage 2: Wario or Little Mac can take Yoshi’s place, and they’d be respectively fought on Wario’s Castle or Boxing Ring.
Stage 3: Captain Falcon or Ness can be fought on this stage, where they’d be fought on Mute City or Onett
Stage 5: Jigglypuff or Banjo-Kazooie can be fought here instead, and the stage could instead be Pokemon Stadium or Spiral Mountain.
Stage 6: Diddy can be fought on this stage instead.
Stage 8: Bowser or Dedede can be fought here instead, and they’d be fought on Peach’s Castle, Rainbow Road, or Dream Land

Kid Icarus is... relatively major as far a classic Nintendo series go. I imagine he would use his original design rather than a more realistic redesign in the game

I’ll go with Underworld, which works like Melee 64’s/Smash 1’s.

Visuals style after the NES games with ruined pillars, and crumbling platofrms and walls against a black sky the set would be similiar to Hyrule temple, with a large open area up top tighter more cramped tunnels underneath.

I’ll give my opinion of this alternate SSB64:

In terms of roster and stage selection, I think they’re both pretty great selections. It’s cool to see that the real 64 cast was kept in this roster, and Marth was the only major player missing from the original roster for me, and everyone else is a pretty cool addition.
Also, Rainbow Road is a nice addition, and Temple and Pokemon Stadium feel ingrained in SSB where it’s weird to not see them at this point.
