Though I'm ashamed to admit it, I think that joining this site has had the biggest impact on my life out of everything I've ever chosen to do.
Nearly 5 years ago I read an article about this site in a Nintendo Power magazine, the same year I turned 13 and bought a copy of SSBM (I was a goody-goody when it came to buying games, and never bought T-games until I turned 13). I thought it was the best game ever. (Actually, I've finally come to the conclusion that its gameplay is far superior than Brawls. Took me a while to admit.) I (thought I) had a natural talent for the game, so I just had to join.
I was a charicature of a newbie back then. I was ignorant yet arrogant; said a lot but didn't have much to say; an adamant atheist, arguing against people completely out of my league. And probably a bit sub-par in the brains department, looking back. Here, take a look at some of my earliest posts for a good laugh:
As I matured, I changed my scene. I came to realize I wasn't mature enough for the Debate Hall, so I spent most of the time in the Pool Room and Pokemon Center. I decided I wanted nothing more in life than to be a moderater of one of those rooms.
4 years later, I become mod of the Pokemon Center. (Granted, I'm not anymore [I resigned a few months ago], but still.)
How does that happen? How does a kid who doesn't know that Dark is a special-type move become a moderator on a forum with 1,000+ people in traffic every day? I'm still not sure.
**WARNING: REALLY FRUITY PARAGRAPH AHEAD**
I think it has something to do with me just being myself. Before I came to this site, I was an extremely awkward, unconfident, introverted kid. I never took risks, put myself out there, anything. However, under the mask of Zook on this site, I was able to discover and develop my personality. Its remarkable, in my opinion. This site has shown me that, while I'm not Einstien, I'm a witty, likable person with a very distinct personality.
**WARNING OVER**
Anyways, here's to Smashboards, the web site I've wasted well over a month on in combinded time, where I discovered who I am, where my heroes turn to villains (*cough* "die in a fire" *cough*) and my villains turn to heroes.
But most important of all...
Where I always win.

That was my very first post.o.k., this is my first post, but here it goes...
1. for that master foot guy... DARK HAS BEEN A PHYSICAL MOVE SENSE JOHTO!
2. why is every one so upset that there's going to be more pokemon? what, your T rated rpgs don't have enough characters?
3. yes, i agree that baby pokemon are weak, BUT THEY LEARN POWERFUL MOVES THERE EVOLVED FORMS CAN NEVER LEARN! THEY ARE NOT COMPLETELY USELESS!
well, that blew off some steam...
Here's a classic:So many of you are worse than then people that say the PSP doesn't suck because it just doesn't. Think about. Apparently, "god" is "all good and perfect." Is that why there is war? Is that why "god created" the "devil?" Is that why "he" allowed Darwin to oppose himself? If god IS all good and perfect, none of this would be true. Here is whats happening, either...
1. God IS the devil, not all good or perfect, and insists on torturing all existence.
OR
2. God simply does not exist.
O.K., I can see why you belive in god, but we don't know how old the universe is exactly. Or how many other universes there were before this. Although the odds are with creationism, think about it. There may have been 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 universes before this one was existant. The 'monkey on the typewriter' thing may not be correct(given an infinit amount of time, a monkey could recreate all of shakespeers plays), but, then again, the universe is not complete, much like the monkeys script. The universe is expanding, and, sadly, will eventually implode , just to explode again, life with it. Perhaps life has been around forever, even before forever.
I do know that i likely can't change your theist oppinions(after all, your parents have burned your beliefs into your mind), but, after reading this, do you somewhat change your opinions?
Anyways, I think you get the idea. I was, simply put, dumb and cocky. The only reason they added Jiggly is to fight Giga Bowser and other large enemys. Sing and rest both make her(?) vulerable, rollout is a weaker version of Yoshi's rumble tumble egg, and her(?) punch move is weak.
