Actually, if the widely believed rumors are true, a char was cut while making the game and so they put Lucina in so they wouldnt reduce the number of chars. If this is true, Lucina DOES take away an opportunity.

Like I said, it doesn't work that way. No Lucina would't have meant new unique character.

Okay kids, remember, clones are roster buffs, and buff the already complete roster. They didn't take the spot of a unique character. Theyre bonus throw in characters.

The attack becomes even stronger if you strike from behind! Robin doesn't actually use this ability in the original game, but we added that element to make the character unique. I hate how Sakurai overemphasizes/makes top tier franchises that are less popular (Starfox/FE) and top characters from top franchises seem to always be sub-par (Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc.)
