Nowhere, it's my personal theory, and explains why Sombra, a ahcker, would be bad news for a robot, a hackable machine.
For that matter, it's be cool to see if Sombra can hack other people's tech. Torbjorn turrets attacking your team while foes watch? Hack the turrets, and turn the tables on them.

2014 was a good year.
Hard to think we went from the most active part of Smashboards to this.
Eventually the Smash 4 Social will fade into legend. People will write songs about it. Sure, some stuff may be left out or events changed through retellings but the spirit of the thread will be passed on to a new generation.
Or maybe something less romanticised will happen, you never know :/. It's not like the spirit of the Miiverse PotD thread passed on anywhere.

Indeed it was. I remember the Pic of the Day thread... it was insanely active to the point that I gave up on checking that thread long before it got locked. I also remember Zipzo's 3DS version impressions thread as well as that one thread revolving around Japanese players breaking the street date and streaming the game on Twitch. It was a great time to be on the site.

2014 was flat out the most terrible time for me in the 2010s. The 3rd semester at college was literal hell.

I see. In my case, I've already brought up the subject of how 2012 managed to become the crappiest year of the decade for me. Most of it alludes to personal issues that I won't specify at this moment, but it really was an awful year in just about everything. I can't say anything remotely good that happened to me during those maligned 366 days.

Preach it dude. It was hectic, but it was a really good time. Though we kept [Imagine I said it in your head]posting like there was no tomorrow and the market crashed when new rules were being implemented and a lot of people got punished for taking advantage of the hype train. Still was fun even until I left back last August.

EDIT: Speaking of wikis, does anyone remember when we HAD a wiki for Smash 4 Social?

I'm kind of surprised by the fact we didn't deal with lots of double posts during that time. You'd think there'd be a lot of them seeing as 2.0 and 3.0 exploded in regards to activity. However, that may have made keeping up with conversations a bit tedious for some, so I think the slower pace of this thread should work better in this aspect.

But I'll have to admit that it felt much more natural to post a bunch of text along with an image or video after enforcing that particular rule in 4.0. I sometimes tend to look back at previous social threads and find the lack of revelant text on image / video-only posts as pretty weird. I'm bringing this rule up because it really was the one most users didn't follow at first. I'd bring up the infamous one-liners as well, but that's another story.

And yeah, I remember the Smash 4 Social Thread wiki. I sometimes think of it as both a mistake and a mere joke, but I don't know which one holds up being more true. It's still up if you wanted to check it out again.

If anyone remembers seeing some of my posts, you'd know I recently completed a playthrough of Gold.
Well the nostalgia was very real so I got to wanting to finally complete the Stadium games. Now I've never been able to connect a game using the Transfer Pak. I had a friend gave me one years ago but it didn't seem to work. That was until yesterday when I thought, maybe, just maybe it might work if I blew in it like a cartridge. Anyway, after plugging it in and out of my controller a few times and doing the same with the Game Pak inside, I managed to get it to work.
I was so freaking excited to finally be able to use a Transfer Pak and access all the features of the Stadium games. To think the Pak worked the whole time XD. So glad I held onto it.

I read some information that suggests that the paralysis status condition has been nerfed. Paralyzed Pokemon seem to use 50% of their speed value, instead of 25%.

That's rather bad for the slow Pokemon who want to paralyze their targets, as even when their target does get paralyzed, they still may not be able to get the first attack (something that was easier to accomplish in past generations).

no sure exactly how long the demo is, but it feels longer than the Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire Demo, and you can do a lot more things.

Demo is really short. Took about 30 minutes for the main part, maybe less than that if you do it with no distractions. There's stuff to do after but nothing that takes up much time.

Only thing I don't like about the demo is that I can't save manually. I don't like doing a long session in a row(I'm aware it's not super long, but you get what I mean). Otherwise, really nice. It's odd not moving with the D-Pad. XD
