I notice the 1st pic is all 8 of the original SSB roster barring secret characters while the 2nd pic is all 8 brand new characters barring secret new characters and 3rd-party new characters.

That seriously didn't even cross my mind... LOL! Great point! But quite honestly... given that Kid Icarus (not that I have anything against the franchise) has 3 characters... they could give Pokémon 20 playable characters and it would be fair based on their popularity.
