You know, this kinda reminds me of Persona 4 Arena and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. Except the "nicknames" are not insulting. I love P4A, and the Persona series is awesome, and I love Guilty Gear and BlazBlue.

I'd have to say, all I need is an easter egg of the Kong himself, DK vs Little Mac on his stage, turning into a more 'serious' arena, lights flashing, stage fireworks setting off, Punch Out music blasting in those big speakers next to the lights, and even have an announcer for when someone is K.O'd.
