In the August direct, Sakurai had a purple chair and a yellow chair in the recording room

Everyone thought it was a clue Skull Kid was coming because they match the colors of his fairies.

Been watching several videos of Smash Ultimate Direct predictions. It is now starting to really click with me that Smash Ultimate base game speculation is ending.

It's been a short, but fun journey speculating hardcore on newcomers for this speculation period. For me personally, it feels immensely bittersweet. Even though I have been getting a streak of unique newcomer predictions right thus far, I don't expect to get all of the remaining unique predictions right.

The truth is going to come to me and hit me so hard in just hours. It is an unbelievable thing to think about.

Sakurai has two chairs behind him on the August direct. One yellow One purple.

People believe it was a hint towards Waluigi being playable (Wario and WAH). Other people started thinking it was hinting *insert yellow/purple character here*.

Also the sofa has pillows with patterns on them, this was a hint for skull kid.
