I'd add in the Aparoids from Star Fox Assault. I know that game wasn't the most popular, but I really liked the concept of the new enemies and moving past andross instead of finding some way to rehash him.

There is no Gary Oak in Pokémon games, the name is Blue Oak. And how would he even work as a Smash Run enemy, lol
He would run up to you and talk about how great he is then run away as soon as you try and punch him.:chuckle:

Primids. I didn't like Subspace, but I did like the new enemies and bosses it gave us.

I'd love to see some characters with some class variation in them.
Primids (although my pipedream would to be to have these guys playable, but it ain't never happening, so Smash Run it is), Grimleal (Sorcerer, Dark Mage etc.), Risen (Barbarian, Archer etc.).

I have to agree on the New Age Retro Hippie from EarthBound, and Pigmasks from Mother 3.

That is, IF EarthBound or Mother 3 is even getting any Smash Run enemies. With absolutely nothing revealed at this point, I'd be overjoyed to see ANYTHING confirmed.

-Dr. Hector (Gyromite)
-Mechanical Punching Bag (Wii Fit)
-Scorpion and Tarantula (Animal Crossing)
-Neighbors (Animal Crossing)

That's all I can think of right now. Any thoughts?
Bonkers is in Smash Run as one of the Target! enemies.
My pick: Zubat, just hordes or them from seemingly nowhere. That would be amazing.

Seeing how there are sort of "mini bosses" in smash run, one enemy I would love to see but doubt is:

The Man-at-legs. Getting near it would cause you to get quite the damaged racked up.

As for normal enemies:
Dry Bones
Primads
R.O.B (But also having him Playable mind you).

I'd love it so much if Kirby could eat his own enemies and gain the Super Star version of their powers.

Heck, it would be awesome if he could eat every enemy in Smash Run and copy some sort of power from them. It wouldn't necessarily have to be in the form of unique hats like the characters, but it would be fairly cool regardless. It's a shame that it almost certainly wouldn't be feasible to do it.

She's not dead though!
Gotta say, as funny as it would be, I would probably still end up raging at the Zubats
I know. Who wouldn't rage at the Zubats? Also, now that I think about it, Emmeryn would be a better idea for an assist trophy.

I would love to see the mechon from Xenoblade show up as enemies. And there's certainly a wide variety of them to be chosen from.

Then for bosses they could choose from the likes of the Fortress Units, Apocrypha Generator, Mass Produced Faces, and Metal Face if he's not a stage boss.

Then there's also the other major camp of enemies, the telethia.

Even some of the regular enemies I can see working decently in Smash Run.

And on a non-Xenoblade related note, I can see Darkrai being one awesome boss.

I'm all for the Xenoblade characters, though I could only see the Face Mechon being bosses. I'd also love to beat up some random Nopon for some reason.

Darkrai is already a Pokeballmon, but that doesn't necessarily exclude him from enemy status.

I'll be honest, I really don't like those Xenoblade enemies at all. Any of them.

I mean, everything in Xenoblade - including Shulk himself - seems to have such an overly complicated design that It looks more like they belong in a Square Enix game than a Nintendo one...
Maybe that's why most people seem to like the idea of Xenoblade representation in Smash Bros. so much - it's the next best thing to Final Fantasy representation. Having never played any FF games (which, in all honesty, I know I should do ASAP), and having no particular fondness for such complicated RPG designs in the first place, that effect is certainly lost on me.
Then again, I also barely know anything about Xenoblade, so please do correct me if I'm wrong.

Phew, there, I said it. Talk about an unpopular opinion... I hope I'm not about to start a flame war or something.

Well, you're not entirely off target with the Final Fantasy comparison, as Monolith Soft is made up of former Square Co. greats who left after the PS1 era. Tetsuya Takahasi, Founder and President of Monolith Soft and Director of Xenoblade is known for his work on designing the Magitek armor from FFVI's intro sequence. He played a major role in the development of FF IV, V, VI, and Chrono Trigger. He also proposed a concept for FF VII, which ended up becoming Xenogears, the first project he was the director of.

Aha! Well, that's good to know then.
I really should have done at least some research beforehand, but thanks for the information.

In other words, it turns out Shulk basically IS a Square Enix character...? Yeah, that does explain a lot...

Also explains why 4-6 are my favorite FF games.

Wonder what Pac Man enemies we'll get? I can't remember enough about Pac Man World to know what enemies were there.

If any Earthbound enemy appears besides this, I would be super sad.

Also, don't forget the protractor.
New Age Retro Hippie is objectively the best choice, if you disagree you are an inferior human :p

But in all seriousness. NARH would be the best.

Can they change the background music when you're near them? And can they feel weird and attack other Smash Run enemies?

Pretty please Sakurai.

He would take a long time to kill, but he would offer tons of rewards.

We got the Pookas but if they got more they would obviously get the ghosts. There are also those spiders, the bears, the saw blade things, the cube men, the Chinese dragon like things, and those walking dynamite guys... Do the 3rd party characters have a 'cap' on how many they can get?

Well, Sonic and Mega Man only have one enemy.

Yeah it seems like they will just get one- seems odd they chose Pookas over the ghosts, but since they already have plenty of representation in his moveset, 3DS stage, maybe the Wii U stage, and as an assist I can see why they chose it. Pookas are actually my favorite Namco character and I kinda hope they attack in the same way as they do in Pac-Man World 2 (They start inflating as they get closer to you till they explode, hurting you.)
