Smash Run absolutely has to return

I don’t see why they wouldn’t bring this mode back, and if they do hopefully they revise it a little bit.

1. Add multiple maps, I didn’t feel like the areas in the smash run 3DS map lasted long enough before you entered another one, and they kinda sucked tbh. We should have a Ice map, Jungle map, Cave map, Laboratory map Metroid inspired, desert map, Beach/water map etc.

2. Add more Stadium modes like Finding certain items before other players do, trophy rush box smashing game, winner smashes the most boxes etc.

3. Should have online multiplayer

4. Every player should be on the same map.

Smash Run was mainly the reason why I kept playing Sm4sh 3DS, so I'd absolutely love to see its return.

I agree with you, Smash Run had some issues but it was great, I hope it returns.

I only want it to return if it has online functionality. The mode was pretty fun in 4 but I would've played it a lot more than I did if it was online. Playing it solo gets old and I didn't really get a chance to play it with others over wireless.

Splitscreen might be an issue though for local play. A lot of models would need to be rendered on the screen which may be too taxing for the hardware (similar to the 3DS Ice Climbers situation).

Agreed. Online is an absolute must if smash run returns, with all players on the same map.

I enjoyed Smash Run over Smash Tour, honestly. It was a pretty small map once you've covered every part of it, so if it does return, hopefully it'll be a larger map. I also wouldn't mind there being various maps rather than the one we got on the 3DS.

Smash Run was fun to play once. Not a whole lot of replay value though, but at least there was value in giving it a try in the first place. It could probably have been made better, and maybe it does deserve another chance at being a thing.

Smash Run was what made me constantly replay the 3DS version of 4. Not to mention I just think Smash 3DS was definitely the better of the 2 versions (had better stages, better classic mode, had the benefit of coming out first). I so want Smash Run to return and yes more maps OR a bigger map with more extra areas added, online play where everyone can be on the map at once. Oh and of course they could add more classic enemy mooks.

I agree Smash Run should return. It has been pointed out that it should included online play in it as the local play split screen is jarring and the mode itself gets old fast single player, and I agree.

I imagine the map itself would be much bigger if it were revisited and implemented.
