I dont think it ll be worth it to jack the price to 20 bucks for entry singles just to accommodate 1 person, we probably wouldnt get a total of 30 ppl to enter anyways.
however if you some how do get 30+ for sure then it would ok i guess

Paul isn't. He is definitely most technically sound though.
Granted, Adam is one of my favourite smashers and if anyone deserved it, he would. But there is no way I'd make a drastic change like that, we're not a mainstream community, we are here more for fun than money.

Last time you were in calgary... was that Clarke's tournament? With Sid and Carl and Luke?
If it was that tournament it's because I eliminated Simon after he took down Paul and I had taken down Allan. Simon got like 5th. Luke got 4th. I got 3rd. You got 2nd. Carl got 1st.
Somehow I'm still not even considered top 5 in Calgary by people like Tyson. =/
As for weddings, that like, not even that expensive compared to some.

if my house was in a better location I would just host at my place. Might move this summer or next summer back to the city, we'll see. (Calgary or Edmonton)

Well like I would be coming mostly for melee and p:m, and they start later in the day, so that shouldn't be an issue. And don't get too excited this is just me really wishing to go, and thinking of a crazy idea that probably won't happen. But if I could leave Calgary by 8 I think I'd be good.
I can't start any earlier just based on booking times and how it works. However the end time is not set in stone, in fact, everything just loosely written out so by all means I'd love to finish early it's just a lot to fit in.

Perhaps another time then guys. The only way I would come out to this now is if someone were to drive and I could hitch a ride with them. I would need to "win" enough money to cover my expenses in order for me to come.

even $10 would be alright. That's pretty standard for locals. $5 is too small IMO.

$10 is standard I agree, however I'm actually trying to pitch this to a lot of newer players more than the already standardized competitive players, because Calgary has a lot of on the fence players currently and I'd love to give them a chance to get into things.
...that and my venue cost me a lot so I had to raise the venue fee to $10 and I hate cutting peoples pockets.
