Smash E3 Presentation Recap!

Despite the leaks that happened, the Smash E3 presentation from Sakurai went on as planned and even managed to bring on some more unexpected surprises! New stages, Mii costumes, amiibo news and more all were revealed! Take a look at the presentation!

Here is a point by point summary:

• Melee veteran Roy returns to smash, costs $3.99 in eShop
• Lucas Will Cost $3.99
• New Mii costumes including Megaman.EXE (Gunner), ZERO (Swordfighter), Isabelle (Gunner) Splatoon Costumes (Gunner), Squid Hat (All), Jacky and Akira from Virtua Fighter (Brawler), Heihachi for Tekken (Brawler)
• Mii amiibos coming soon!
• Details on R.O.B., Duck Hunt, Mr. Game and Watch, and Falco amiibo
• Dreamland 64 to be released for $1.99
• Two more Smash 64 stages to return: Hyrule Castle and Peach's Castle
• Miiverse Stage available free with more details released on its mechanics
• More news on tournament mode, expected release in August
• Availability to post replays on YouTube soon
• Ryu is announced alongside his home stage. A bundle with both costs $5.99
• Roy and Ryu amiibo development confirmed

I love Hyrule Castle. It's easily my favorite Zelda stage out of all the games. I can't wait to see what other music tracks they feature for this stage. Please let Hyrule Castle straight from Link to the Past be one of them.

If you did it that way, you'd be given download codes, which would "still" require you to access the eShop to use them (or in Smash 3DS's case, the in-game shop, as DLC can't be downloaded at the 3DS eShop). Either way you look at it, you're going to have issues.

I'm actually in the eShop, and every time I tell it to buy the DLC, after a minute and a half of "loading" it tells me the servers are experiencing heavy traffic "please understand"

Damnit, Nintendo, I have to go to work in an hour and a half. Can't you just get your **** together.

I mean, it's only a four hour shift, but damn. Would've liked to try the new content BEFOREHAND.
