PROVE ME WRONG.

Sad thing is, you can't, you know it is true. It has always been that way, and that is why they are removing all the glitches, so gameplay can be more fair for the target audience. Wavedashing and all that other stuff were not made on purpose. Brawl will be the game that Nintendo wanted Melee to be. A casual fighting game with nintendo characters. Items were made to be fun for kids, and to be used.

There are techniques that Sakurai's put out for people to master and enjoy, creating that line between Brawler, and Casual Smasher.

Four words.

You. Are. An. Idiot.

I'm not going to waste the effort in rebutting your argument because there's plenty of people here who can do it for me. Even as a casual player, I know it's not a kid's game.

FAILURE!

No, those were accidental. They are glitches, which will be removed in Brawl. Sakurai did not meaningfully put those in. Plus, its not like he developed the game by himself.

Uhh yeah.. It happens ALL the time in games.

CS = bunnyhopping and quickswitching

Halo = BxR, BxB, Double Melee, Backback reload

To name a few.

Halo is rated M. Halo is also a game for kids. Just go on Xbox Live. The rating means nothing.

Are you calling i a children's game in the sense that children can play it?

A valid argument certainly, BUT ARE WE NOT ALL CHILDREN AT HEART? Therefore, we all qualify to play it.

Well, since you can't prove any of your points, this is a really pointless argument, and you only want attention.

Halo's not meant for Kids. And it's not. If you've ever played any Smash Bros game, you know that advanced techiques are not accidental.

Wanna give an actual reason to how Bralw is a kid game?

With your garbage, the other two SSB could be considered kid's games too.

You obviously have never been to a Smash tourney. Watch the players there and tell me Brawl is for casual/kid gamers only. :ohwell:

Being a good little conformist
Troll threads = stupid replies = closed.

If you want to actually tackle the subject of whether or not Smash is a real fighting game, you'd probably be better off doing so with the cases of the actual Smash games that are playable now, rather than continue mindlessly speculating about how Brawl will or won't be different. Asking whether Brawl will be a casual-only game because it lacks advanced techniques is stupid because it's based on a premise that (while no one can disprove) you can't prove. (If that point doesn't make sense to you (i.e. you're not actually trolling) feel free to PM me, and I'll explain it to you.)

And if we're debating whether or not a game is going to be played by kids, we don't need to litter the boards with it.
