Smash Bros. Brawl is the game we've been waiting for.

I know there are others out there like me on here that love 64 and still play it to this day. I hated Melee, it was too fast, Captain Falcon was uncontrollable, great characters were nerfed, the levels weren't that great, etc.

Smash 64 was perfect for me and I just couldn't even play Melee, it was so unfun. But Brawl IS THE LIGHT!!! I just got back from playing for six hours or more STRAIGHT and this game plays so much more like 64...it still has difference from Melee and 64 as well as similarities but I think it feels much more like 64 and I'm thrilled. It plays beautifully and Ness & Kirby are back in action again!!! I got to play almost every level and character, AMAZING GAME!

No...a bunch of Melee fans will just flame people for enjoying 64 more. I can't stand Melee and I've been waiting for the true sequel to Smash 64 and this is it. The only reason I posted this was for 64 fans to see and a lot are in this forum I think...I would be scared of it being in Brawl Discussion even though it would get more traffic/posts.

Sorry but this is a bad comparison. Smash 64 is all about the 0-death combos while from what we've seen from brawl you can barely even combo. I really dislike the way brawl looks. It looks nothing like ssb64 to me.

The ridiculous combos ARE out (since there isn't much hit stun) but if you were just playing the game for the ridiculously inescapable combos, you loved it for a broken feature. The combos were fun for me too but that wasn't what made the game.

wow the way you say it make me wanna play brawl so bad and i hope it feels kinda like ssb64 cuz if it does ill be so good at it

If people flame you for liking 64 more than melee, they'll get punished. And it's doubtful that they'll do it anyway.
