Shoot. Yea I forgot about Zelda. She's pretty bad imo. I got to play as her and Din's got nerfed quite a bit imo. Its like Melee's speed and Brawls hit box. Fox and Marth don't seem too good in this game either.


I pretty much agree with all your choices. Those look to be the best characters so far. Yoshi looks really improved. His egg roll seems to be a good move now.

Looking at this, I'm pretty sure that we have all the female chracters (except Nana, and Jigglypuff since we technically don't know her gender). I can't really think of any others who have a solid chance .

So what's everyone's thoughts on aigtha in hyrule warriors? Also calling it now, balloon fighter, and mach rider are the retros.

I was also surprised by her inclusion, I am interested to see who else will be dragged in if she is in this. I wouldn't be surprised if both are playable, sakurai seems to really like balloon fight.

I personally believe Lucario will find his way to the higher tiers. At least, I hope he does. With the confirmed buffs he currently has, it'd surprise me if he stayed middle tier.

I REALLY want to know more about his Mega...

...I just want Sakurai to actually say his Mega is his Final Smash. It's bloody obvious, but I hate the fact he didn't even try to confirm it. It's a real pain for Wikis, since we have to wait for a literal confirmation to add stuff, not "likely" situations.

There always the chance that he automatically Mega Evolves when his Aura reaches max power.
That's what I originally thought it was.

But if his Mega is his Final Smash, then maybe Mewtwo can get Lucario's Brawl one.

What he probably meant by that was permanent character transformations like Zelda/Sheik, Samus/Zero Suit Samus and Pokémon Trainer, because after all, Giga Bowser and Mega Charizard X exist and if Brawl is any indication with Giga Bowser and Wario-Man, those are both mid-battle transformations, albeit temporary.

It could be an aesthetic change for Lucario whenever his Aura reached max point, but I think it's going to be his new Final Smash that temporarily maxes his aura.

(Though I feel like I'm missing something about your statement...)

Well, he could use Psystrike, evolving into one of his Mega Evolutions during the move, returning to normal after the move was over...

The difference is that they (and Mega Lucario) have the same moveset.

I'd have a feeling we'd be seeing the Mega Evolutions since that's pretty much "The Thing" right now. Hopefully the Mega Evolution moveset(s) would receive some adjustments though.

I'm pretty sure Mega Lucario is a Final Smash, especially after Mega Charizard X was confirmed as a Final Smash too.

Would make for a much better PoTD compared to the recent streak of filler.
