Well, looking at Kermit's avatar again does raise another question. Who would win in a fight? Ness or Homura? I think I'm going to have to side with the character that actually defeated Giygas.

I'm going to go to bed early to catch the direct without being too tired. I also just need a longer sleep after this stressful first week. >.>

Who expects announcement tomorrow?

Likeliness: 25%
Want: 99% (That one percent is for if they just restate stuff we already know.)

See you at 7:00 guys.

And thus why yaoi fangirls are always compared to cockroaches. They just never stop breeding or spreading their diseases to the more souls that would be traumatized. I was even surprised and disturbed that a sumo wrestling manga like Hinomaru Zumo had spawned yaoi Rule 34 already.

I-it's fine... I'll just be in this corner here surrounded by a bubble shield so I won't spread my diseases when I ship characters.

:troll:

Goes both ways with the fanbases though.

This question is actually quite hard to answer, as it really depends on to what extent Homura is able to abuse her
time stop
If Ness could somehow restrict it similar to how Mami did in the movie, then Ness would win easy. Otherwise, I dunno.

Regardless, I don't think either of them could truly die. Ness could return after gathering all the courage he can, and Homura
is basically undead

There are yuri fangirls out there too.

The concept of people loving homosexual pairings is not gender exclusive. The bara genre in particular was even intentionally designed to attract gay men.
Well now this thread is getting interesting :woman:

I think is more of a 50% chance, since apparently there is going to be a Smash 3ds Media presentation at PAX:

Alright, I think I can sort this out:
So as soon as the fight begins, Ness engages PK shield to defend himself while Homura stops time and makes everything become a Danmaku fest. As soon as the time resumes, Ness blocks the gunfire (trust me, he survived Giygas's attacks using PK Shield, I think he can make it out alive), and rushes up to Homura. Eventually, Ness would finally get a hold of her so her time stopping ability would be rendered useless, where Ness would then PK Rockin'/Flash her out of the game.

Any thoughts or mistakes I could've made here? I'm not using Demon Homura, for simplicity.

That situation works fine. Ness would just have to get the OHKO chance with Flash in order to win by using that. Ness also has to be careful, because his grab range is **** :troll:

Ness could totally beat
Akuma Homura though. Considering what Giygas is described as (the Universal Cosmic Destroyer) it's completely doable.

I got this crazy idea, who would go as far as to ship Ness with Homura?
Not me. In fact, I wouldn't even ship Homura with
Madoka, because friendship is better than romance.

The later is true since the yaoi would be pretty off putting to most gay men for the stereotypical gender roles and not being realistic enough based on some studies I've done. Though it is true that there are some males out there that do enjoy yaoi despite its problems.

Damn, I shouldn't alienate one of the main reasons why most manga are successful in the first place. If there were no fujoshi in the Kuroko no Basuke fanbase, then the series wouldn't have been lasting until this year. The same would basically go to Katekyo Hitman Reborn too since most of their followers and fans were female despite the shounen tag.

Think more Super Paper Mario soundtrack. Or even Thousand Year Door. Especially around the 20 second mark.

It has that disjointed Paper Mario-esque music feel to it. Very characterized.

I'm not really talking about the tambre of the song but more of the melody. They sound like they're from the same game. Or at least genre.
ooooohhhh....I really disagree with this.

They do not sound the same or sound like the game at all. Not even close.

I need to tell why: The sound design and so, the whole conventions used in most of the tracks from TTYD and SPM, have a little something that makes them very unique: sounds.

Yeah, you pretty much have to listen the original console output OR, a ripped wav OST (which I have) to hear everything you should hear. Because if you listen to them, you will notice some sounds that are completely "out of there" in itself. There's several examples of it, but most of the track are based on those sounds that basically enhance the audio experience.

Take "Hey, don't move!" for example you can hear multiple time what sounds to be a "scream?". I don't have any idea what the heck it is, but hearing this sounds gives the funny aspect of it by being silly in how awkward the atmosphere is.

Shadow queen final battle is impressing in the uses of sounds. At one point, you hear the main melody mixed with a track that is so much intense and so hidden by being in the background that it really get most of your attention instantly. I could write a whole page for the whole track, but it gives you the mix between the usual dramatic boss battle effect with darkness and evil.

I could also take "Anwer the question!" where the preogressive sounds adds a pression feel mixed with the main track that sets the "question" feel.
Normally, I mostly discern a main track that is mixed with complementary sounds and goes well each other, but in this case, the sounds only amplify the effect while TTYD music enhance the music. This makes the music more diverse in what atmosphere they try to do since it's more precise.

Kirby soundtrack mostly has a main track while the background just follows. What is unique in kirby ost that I found is the good use of orchestral instruments like violin or flute (I think it's a flute?). That makes the style of the ost, but TTYD was so much different in my eyes that I never found anything I could call similar in the design and everytime I hear a TTYD track, I know it ONLY COMES from TTYD because it just feels like it.

SPM is basically TTYD, but with even more sounds (ultimate show is really a fest of those and it clearly is very far from orchestral instruments).

Such intruments are some time used in TTYD (like tittle screen and glitszville), but they most of the time never take over sounds.

PM64 however, doesn't do it that much despite the ost being very good.

That's why I don't understand why a remix of Green Green sounds like a TTYD or SPM music because the sound design is way too different.

I can pass you the Wav ost if you have 240 mb free on your hard drive, this is the best quality you can have as this wav was ripped from the original hardware file.

And yes, I have that much to say about vgm.

Yaoi was pretty much designed with a women audience in mind, hence why the roles in yaoi can be comparable to a relationship between a male and female. For example, the uke is designed to be more feminine then the seme, so women could have something to compare to themselves in that relationship. The stereotypical uke is mainly the reason why some gay men aren't keen on yaoi, because they feel it's not a realistic portrayal and in extreme cases feels like a loophole.

There are some problems with yaoi, yes, however, you just gotta search for the good ones. This is why I usually read manga, as there's very little good yaoi anime (my fave one is probably a parody BL anime, can you believe it). I don't pay much attention to yuri anime, but I'm taking a guess that there's far more variety out there than yaoi. I could go into why I think some yaoi go into the stereotypical gender roles, but I'll probably bore you and I'll ramble on. Keep in mind that most of this stuff come from Japan, and their idealistic man might be and look different from ours. I mean, have you ever seen Japanese men in host clubs?

But yeah, I've search hard and I've found some BL manga that's fairly realistic and don't really play up in the stereotypical gender roles (not a huge fan of seme & uke :( We need more realistic relationships). I'll list some if ya like. ;) I'm not sure on the bara. Some stuff is just PWP and a whole bunch of hypermasculinity (but I'm probably generalizing here -- yaoi could be the same. I've just come across one-shots and doujins. Hey man, if you know a bara manga with a good plot and character development, tell me!). But if it's made [usually] by men, for gay men, then they're must be doing something right if they're making a profit.

Why Loz, why.
I had a hard time clicking with the other ladies at the time. You know? I could perfectly place them with other great guys, but they didn't really fit me. And then I met her. I was so determined to rescue Nowi, but it was so hard moving in the sand, you couldn't see anything. She died 4 times until I finally saved her and kept the rest of my group safe. Then I found out she was over a thousand years old, and I was like. Hey, that's cool, and paired her up with myself to be friends. Then I used a second seal on her, oh and boy did she blossom. She was so powerful with me I couldn't resist. We had a swift engagement, and we eventually had 2 lovely girls, Morgan, and Nah. They fought very well like their parents. Myself and Nowi one shotted pretty much anything that came into our path. Oh, the memories.
