After that leak, the official Pokémon company has now OFFICIALLY revealed Mega Audino.

No sign of Mega Slowbro though.

I'm sure they will show Mega Slowbro in the next video / official site / whatever. It's just a matter of time, lol.

So, I'm horrifically disappointed. After re-picking up Jigglypuff as my "FINE, I'LL USE A HIGH TIER, JEEZ" character and kicking ***, I thought I'd use her in Project M... man, she sucks. Like, seriously. I'm not one to advocate for nerf and buffs based on knee-jerk reactions, but I shouldn't be dying at 50% to an average Utilt.
Jigglypuff is a bit underpowered in PM and is probably the one character people wants buffed the most. Her B-Air's hitbox being smaller than in Melee is one thing that really hurts her a lot as it makes the wall of pain harder to land and is also generally just her best spacing tool. She's also not quite as mobile as in Melee, she feels a bit more stiff imo. She's certainly not high tier in PM, that's for sure.

My dream last night:

I went on Miiverse and saw that Porygon-Z was confirmed playable. And I was like, "WTF. Game Freak, I know that you're kinda picky about what Pokemon content gets in, but this is ridiculous". I don't think I minded too much, because after I thought that Raichu could get in being a Pikachu clone. Oh, and Porygon-Z had this weird move where one of its eyes enlarged (and the other one turned a weird colour) and tears came out (which looked orange).

I have no idea.

Anyway, I view Smash as a platform fighting game. I could see why some people want to throw the term "party game" (or maybe party fighter) in. It's a unique genre that I'd love to see other game developers make a game with a similar formula (doesn't even need to be a crossover). See: history of MOBA games. Making a game similar in gameplay/concepts to an existing one, and not straying too far from the formula, can be successful. Create a new Smash game that expands on the concepts, rather than something that feels like a quick cash cow.

Does anyone really like Audino? Not that she doesn't deserve a Mega Evolution, but I don't think she's hype worthy to be put into her own trailer. Slowbro is more recognisable than Audino.

Also, considering today's PotD about Mega Man's custom specials, what other robot master weapons does anyone think will make it in?

Sounds like the start of a creepypasta.

I always thought Konami could make a good platform fighter. They have some recognizable characters, like Simon Bellmont, Snake, Bomberman, Pyramid Head, etc.. Seeing what they could do with those characters and their franchises, along with other like Power Pro, Air Zonk, Master Higgins would be sweet.

I know they technically have with TV Stars MegaMix or whatever it's called, but that was Japan-exclusive, even though it was awesome. Byeblade, Transformers, Castlevannia and Barbie in one game? Legendary.

Did anyone else think that the Meta Knight 3DS pictures looked really good compared to what we've seen in the past? Maybe I just didn't notice how good the 3DS version was shaping up.
Indeed. That's proof that the 3DS can handle Smash Bros., maybe not at Wii U levels, but we must be happy that we're getting a portable game as well. :shades:

I'm sure that this has been talked about since the new PotD, but anyone think Sonic will have some more diverse custom moves?

I think that Smash 3DS will definitely surprise people. It will certainly be more accessible, will probably have a very good balance of single player and multiplayer, and you can take it anywhere. Not saying it will be the superior version, just that it'll be much better than the people giving it flak will admit.

A portable Smash Bros. that plays like a Smash Bros. game and can still be competitive?
That's good enough. Wii U is cool too.

It's funny you say that; One game, Sonic Battle, uses the same type of controls Smash does, or well, really similar. It's all "single button" for an action, depending slightly how you move the D-Pad or if you're in the Air. It's far more simple, mind you, but it's kind of neat. It's a GBA game, so less buttons overall.

Overall, there's a Walk, Run, Jump, Double Jump, Shield, Heal, 1st Attack, 2nd Attack, 3rd Attack, Heavy Attack(basically a combo finisher), Upper Attack(Just sends them into the air), Dash Attack, Air Attack(a normal attack while in the Air), Aim Attack(a move you use strictly after the Heavy Attack, pursuing the opponent), 6 Specials that are Ground or Air(Shot, Power, Trap) and a "Style". That's not counting mechanics like their Attack power, Defense power(called Strength), Special ability(think like Mewtwo floatiness), and 3 Colors. That's not counting the unique moves only Emerl can use, all "hidden" moves, if you will. ??? moves(more or less Final Smashes ideally), Combo Cards(basically preset combination moves), and Ultimate Attacks(see all those list of attacks? Walk through Style? Those all have Ultimate versions that are ideally better than normal cards. Think Meta Knight on crack).

The game itself is very easy to play and access, but the story mode isn't nearly as fruitful due to repetitiveness, a poor RNG, and a lot of random difficulty. On the other hand, the actual story and dialogue is great(outside of typos). Funny too.

I think that is probably one of the best Fighting games I've played that took a bit after SSB. I should note it lacks Items, so it's closer to a Technical Fighter(also has HP and a meter that builds up that can let you do a OHKO with your Special attack). I hope what I said isn't that confusing, but the summary was a bit weird to type.

Well, I just ordered this bad boy for my 3DS:

I bought one of these before but for some darn reason I've lost my copy of it (I think it was in a backpack I mailed back to the manufacturer that needed repairs and it wasn't included when I got the backpack back). Thank goodness they're cheap & easy to replace.

Wow, like are just about to start chapter 6?

Yesterday, we were both about to start chapter 5 and today, we are both about to start 6!!!

I think we are going to beat the game at the same time even If I do optional stuff.

Metal Sonic and Shadow? And from the looks of things, they're mostly unchanged?
Suddenly I'm interested. Though, it is concept art so they could still come out of this with steroids

Not a bad trailer at all. Definitely still highly looking forward to this game and new universe. <3

Still think Lyric's name should've been "Relic", though. >>

Sonic Battle is pretty good for a GBA game. I even have it on my PSP and can play it via emulation. xD
