I am soooo bored now with nothing to read, books are the reason I have been getting online less and less recently for I have been engrossed in reading recently.

I have gone through 7 books in just under 2 weeks.

Ah well. I'll be going back to the library again tomorrow to get more books to read anyway, but still. It's a boring wait.
Ah, I love books.

Romance, fantasy, art history/art in general, mythology, and world religion are probably my faves, but I love many genres and types.

I recently bought a romance novel (fiction) that throws in Greek mythology. As soon as I started reading it, I couldn't stop (well, I soon had to because it was getting very late). But the next day I finished it, and the novel is only like ~350 pages. I love jotting down important pages numbers with fave quotes/scenes as well.

I do read manga a lot more though. I usually buy my fave series if I can. But sometimes things don't get localized.

"We need more villains".
Did Sakurai ever say that.
To be fair, who do we have left for iconic villains in Smash? K. Rool, Ridley, technically Mewtwo.

Whereas with females, which Sakurai DID mention, there was a plethora of characters to choose from.

I never did care about that "leak". But I still want to see if Shulk is in the game. I think he'd be interesting, and he looks fairly cool.

I tend to stick more to the fantasy genre myself, once in a while I'll go into science-fiction or historical-fiction. I doubt I could ever read a full on romance genre, the closest I have probablly gotten to the genre are the Graceling books which dabble really well into it but still remain mainly fantasy.

I actually just got done reading the book Fire, which is part of the Graceling books, and before that I was reading the Beyonders trilogy, which were books I couldn't put down for anything as they were totally submersive and has given me the fun little tongue twister "if you can't bear the bare bear, bore through the boring bore" just a really great trilogy that I would recomend to anyone who enjoys the fantasy genre.

I'm not too big on manga though. Too many pictures for my liking lol. I prefer to picture the events and characters in my mind instead.

Eh, I guess. I'm much more interested on seeing advanced techniques, though. So yeah.
I'm not into character talks, but if they're in, cool. If they're not, they'll be in Smash 4 in some form.

I have absolutely no clue what's going on right now, so I'll wait until it's something that I can easily jump in on. -~-

If Shulk was in the game, I feel like that would come with spoilers for xenoblade chronicles. And that would make me very sad.:c
EDIT: If you like this post, I will kill you.

We're definitely not talking about representation in Smash.

Yeah, a lot of the romance novels I read aren't really full on as they cover other themes, like the fantasy/Greek myths one I read. I've also read this other romance novel some time ago (it's an adult novel but I was around 16 when I read it. I'm surprised I didn't get bored reading it looking back. My mother has a **** ton of romance novels). It starts out normal, but turns into a psychological thriller. I wasn't expecting that lol.

And it's fine liking certain books or not because everyone has different tastes, and this goes for a lot of things. My visual art tastes for example, get criticized by my father a lot lol. he just can't appreciate the beauty of non-objective art

So I just found out that Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro are teaming up to make the next Silent Hill game (currently named Silent Hills) -- which will run on the Fox Engine (MGSV), and will star Norman Reedus (Walking Dead, Boondock Saints) as the main character.

That almost sounds like 50 Shades of Grey, at least from what I heard about that book (I haven't actually read it myself, but I've heard about it from people who have).

For every like this posts and/or false report this post receives, I will omit 1 word of the list of Xenoblade Chronicle spoilers that I have prepared to send Golden Gallade. Expect delivery at roughly midnight CST.

Good luck!

The news seems to have broken a few hours ago.

The story is that at Gamescon, they released an "interactive teaser" for this new project. This teaser (under the name P.T.) was released as a demo on the PS4 store soon after (so if you have a PS4, you can download and "experience" the teaser right now).

The teaser apparently ends with the actual teaser for Silent Hills, which you can see here:

And here's a playthrough of the P.T. teaser I saw (warning: may be tense, and has a couple of jumpscares).

Oh no, it's not that. It's a much older novel, but forgot the name though. It's been too long. :/

Awesome. And hilarious.
Thanks, Sehnsucht. My faith in humanity is restored.

Your faith in humanity must be pretty tenuous if a video game trailer restored it.
One involving Norman Reedus nonetheless.
I feel like the being facetious part was apparent here.

Though if there's anything postive to take from this, it's that surprises can still happen.

Anyone here into photography? After taking so many pics of people at Otakon I kind of want to get into it. Anybody have any tips on taking pictures? Especially ones of people?
Right here, buddy! My dad's a photographer, and I took two photography courses in high school. Here are a few tips:

1. Make use of the self timer option whenever you're taking selfies
2. If you take a picture of something with a stain on it, you would probably be able to remove it in photoshop with the bandage tool
3. Make sure you follow a places rules about camera use in certain places like Museums. If you get caught, they'd probably do one of three things. A. They'd confiscate your camera, B. They kick you out, or C. Both A and B.
4. Don't take expensive cameras overseas. There could be sneaky people walking around that have some dirty thievery tricks up their sleeves.
