Also, I've drafted a synopsis for each act. There will be six acts in total. Two have been posted, so four more acts remain.

I'm a fan of metal music, but I can't write fan fiction about it. The term fan fiction has particular definitions and applications. As one who does in fact write fan fiction, I can say that if TWOTT can be classified as a fanfic, it barely makes the cut.

And because of Word of God, I can just say it isn't a fanfic, and that would be a canon statement.

It isn't quite self-insertion, because I'm depicting caricatures and parodies of semi-anonymous forum users. I've made a caricature of myself as the main antagonist, sure, but TWOTT isn't an excuse for me to indulge Gary Stu wish fulfillment (it's more an excuse to exercise my comedy chops).

We may share the names that appear in the story, but the character of MVG isn't the actual MVG (at least, that's how it is in my mind's eyes). If anything, I'm just using names in this thread and plastering them on characters.
