You know, it'd be interesting to see a Project M-like thing for Smash 3DS after release. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but it'd be cool, though, Nintendo would troll the player by bricking the 3DS.

All I want in terms of mods is music, and maybe texture hacks. Fighting Captain Falco as Billy Mays with Absolute Configuration or even Piano Man playing in the background is good fun.

I have no idea why people actually think we will get a Project M for Smash 4. Project M is still a baby at this point, there is no "solid" tier list and everyone is still getting use to the Meta Game. Plus hacking just became possible on the Wii U a couple weeks ago, so everyone just calm down about another Project M. It will not happen any time soon.

Not always the case, there's "It's My Life" by Talk Talk, which was covered by No Doubt, and "Walk this Way" by Aerosmith, covered by Run DMC, both of the cover versions of each scored higher on the Hot 100, there's even "Mony Mony" which Billy Idol covered that hit #1 after the original didn't even get past 5.
