*sigh* it wouldn't be SmashBoards if people didn't take the littlest things out of context as cite it as "proof" that so and so is somehow part of the roster. Oh and ALSO the smash bros community wouldn't be the same if we didn't find out about BS roster leaks and act like the creator of said leak was God and claim that everything he said was true ignoring how he's been wrong on more than one account

That's a huge relief. I just hope Rayman stays away from Smash for good.
...although, maybe he might not. Nintendo has already stated their desire to purchase smaller companies, so provided of course, they would have already acquired SEGA and Capcom by the time the fifth smash comes out, so maybe, just maybe mind you, he will get his chance another day.
I'm mad at that too. They didn't have to deconfirm Chrom like THAT, just should've been Lucina and Robin fighting CF.

I'm not sure when you think Smash 5 will come out, but it's going to be a long time before Nintendo acquires Sega.

Tell me. How much sense would it make to have a 3rd party trophy of a character unrelated to the currently confirmed 3rd party characters? Even in Sakurai standards, that is not normal.
And a very important note to take on that article, which almost everyone blindly ignores, is that it does NOT say Rayman is not playable.
My theory is this is Sakurai building hype by giving people the ability to be hopeful of a character that previously had little to no chance. And let's just pretend Rayman winds up being just a trophy. Does this nail his coffin? No. DLC is still a possibility.
What Rayman has in common with Ridley is that not a single person of importance said he wasn't playable. Until I hear those words, no one truly knows their situation.
And I'm not digging any further into this. The situation is still hazy at best, and nothing is confirmed. Except that Rayman is a trophy- just like every playable character. =_=

I decided to post this here instead of making a new thread, so forgive me if my rambling is too lengthy and/or stupid for this thread:
You know what I suddenly want to see possibly the most in Smash 4U? When you complete Adventure mode, unlock all of the characters/stages, and complete all of the challenges?
A special video of everyone stopping, and just dancing. I'm not talking some nerdy dance moves, I'm talking absolute style. Bayonetta levels of style. It starts out with the starter characters, then quickly the unlockables join in as the background switches from stage to stage.
To add onto this is an absolutely sexy house/jazzy remix of the Smash 4 theme or something. Something hype as hell.
I know it's silly, but dammit, a man can dream!

I already knew Rayman was a Trophy ever since he got revealed. All the article said was that he's not playable. lol
He'll get his chance in the next Smash Bros. game. For now, he'll be a Trophy. I know people want him to be playable, but I don't think DLC will happen.
Anyways, since Aegislash got banned, Smogon users want to raise up Togekiss and Starmie in the Viability Ranking Thread. lol
