Same reaction I had when I discovered that Mami hums her theme in the third Madoka movie.

I immediately noticed that. I thought it was pretty cool. Thats about as minimal as self-awareness/breaking the 4th wall can get. and its great.

I don't think Wario by himself would be a big enough reveal for Comic Con. He's a veteran that is basically guaranteed.
IF he is revealed then, he'll probably come with another character like someone from Rhythm Heaven. Though I'm not planning on getting my hopes up soon.

Given they've done a pretty poor job of trying to hide him at htis point given the number of references to his game not to mention his symbol already appearing in different material, I don't even think they're trying anymore.
