I actually do think we'll get a Toon Zelda/Tetra. I don't see it as a waste of space.

The only other Zelda characters that should be revealed are Sheik and Ganon. That's really all we need.

If there had to be anyone else, I wouldn't mind either Tetra or Midna.

Red is not playable in Brawl, just Pokemon Trainer. Sad, but true.

Tetra can be playable without Toon Zelda. I disagree with the idea, but it can happen. I'd rather she was teamed up with Phantom Zelda(as a transformation), but that looks like it won't happen anymore.

...Also, only Pokemon Trainer cannot fight without using his Pokemon in SSB. The rest don't need to switch out or use their teammates to fight. It may be more optimal though.

Zelda without Sheik is different. The franchise is named The Legend Of Zelda...not legend of a freakin' deku nut using sheikah. Toon Zelda being scrapped in Brawl only boosts her chances.

Except that Sheik is an alternative form of Zelda, while Tetra still IS another princess Zelda, only in a pirate way.

I never saw Toon Link as a clone. To me he's a semi-clone.

They're both main and support characters, though. Tetra is pure support in Phantom Hourglass and serves as no more than a plot device. She plays a good role in WW, although only partially, with Toon Zelda playing the other half. Tingle's supporting in many games, with a very small one only in Oracle of Ages, and his main roles are among his now 4 games.(I think the 4th one hasn't been released?) I don't think we need another persona of Zelda before another completely different character. That's why I like Tingle, Impa, and Ghirahim as good choices(in their own separate slot respectively). They all have very unique techniques.

That, and my main Pirate choice will always first be Captain Syrup.

Oh trust me, I've played both of those games. She's about as much of a main character as the sages in OoT, important for one thing then forgotten about later. She was barely in either game at all, she popped up a few times and then I forgot about her, and she certainly never did anything, she was even trapped in the second game. The only time she actually did anything was when she was, surprise, Zelda. And even then, all she did was jack your bow and shoot Ganondorf.

Neither of Tetra's games take place in Hyrule either. They take place on the ocean.

And when you go down into Hyrule proper, she becomes Zelda.
