Ken would be in a "Doc/Dark Pit/Lucina situation". He's a clone, yes, but he also has his own personality and style. Ask any street fighter player and they'll tell you that Ken is different from Ryu on a lot of points.
Besides, he would also need fire effects. Ken is a hot dude, both metaphorically and literally.

Well, he's married anyway. Still hot though.


The trilogy is on PC, wich is weird. I guess Capcom realized there was more profit on the DS rather than the PC. The Ace Attorney series attract both casuals and gamers alike, not just PC master race guys.
Go buy it if you want, the trilogy is also on 3DS.

Too bad he died in SFxTekken. I swear, the dude died in a crossover and was replaced for Blanka and Sakura.

I have the games already(on DS) and finished the first two(third game crashed on me during the second case). They're great though I'm pretty intrigued by this PC version given the game seems to improve greatly on a larger screen(as I've seen with the Wiiware version).

The PC version has actual drawings instead of sprites. The 3DS version is really just a fusion between the DS and PC version for the 3DS. It's great though.
You should finish the trilogy and then go play the Investigations games with Edgeworth. They are a good breath of fresh air compared to the trilogy, while still having familiar mechanics.

Dan is the manliest character. His gadokens are the real deal. And his Ultra 1 goes through projectiles on close range if I remember correctly.
He was my main and I'm proud to say it. Dan for best Street Fighter character.

Nah, it will either be based on his Street Fighter II appearance, or Street Fighter IV. Based on the unused content, the first choice seems the most likely.
And I would give this to Ken anyway. Remember, Ken did this, not Ryu.

The first one is released world wide, but the second one isn't due to some problems that I don't know. But a great fan translation has been made for the second one and it's excellent, almost like a real translation. I'm playing it right now and I can barely see the difference between the two.

Ryu's moveset :
Neutral B - Hadouken : Obvious choice for anyone who wants to put Ryu in a fighting game. There's some possibility of him using it in the air like Akuma/Gouki.
Side B - Tatsumaki Senpuu Kiyaku : Can be used both as an attack and recovery move in the air, just like his games.
Up B - Shoryuken : Again, obvious. If charged like a smash attack, the move goes higher and is stronger.
Down B - Focus Attack (from SFIV) / Pary (from SFII) : The first one can be charged and destroy shields. The second one is a counter that allows the player to perfect frame counter by pressing the button at the right moment, and counter with an other move afterwards.
Final Smash - Shinku or Metsu Hadouken : Obvious choice, but the Shin Shoryuken could also work.

Yeah, Ryu could work great in Smash. He would be original enough to get in.

Ryu is a martial arts artist who fought demons, dictators, god like dudes, a clone who gained sentience and Tekken, Tatsunoko and Marvel legends. He's also a demon when killed. He even fought the god of wrath, in Ashura's wrath.
