Oh my, a person being rude on the internet, what a surprise that should be taken very seriously...
Look, Rarity, it's obvious we have different opinions and likes; you're a Brony, I'm a Type-Lunatic; you defend your fanbases, I hate my own fanbases and constantly poke fun at them; you main Villager, I main Lucina; besides that I'm sure there are many other differences between us. If in the end we can get along, either we fight 'till we get banned, or more logically stop paying attention to the other before we or one of us makes something stupid.
Speaking of music (since I saw it brought up in the last page), I've been getting into more of the classic rock.
I don't know, it's gotten to the point to where I've begun to stray away from today's music. Not that I don't dabble in it (for example, I love Random Access Memories), but it seems a lot of my tastes are more from the 80's back.
I went ahead, took that as a challenge, and made an imgur album to compare.
I used earthbound fanart as the common thing I was looking for between all the fandoms. http://m.imgur.com/a/hc60s
Keep in mind that for GF and AT, the main character is a young boy who likes adventure, just like Ness, and in GF there is a villain that is essentially just Porky Minch with a coat of paint and fancy hair
And FNaF has a popular fan-game that I can't name on this site that is an RPG that references EarthBound.
Name one that isn't some really, really obscure character.
Captain N, for example. and before you say he's obscure, I'd like to direct you to the early Nintendo gamers and early days of Nintendo Power.
Furthermore, how does this affect you? If you don't get the reference ignore it.
I also know another series I know you like that I can counterargue with: ADVENTURE TIME. People have adapted EVERYTHING into that show's art style. You can't hate on one fandom when you belong to another that pulls the exact same behavior.
looks like I wont be playing osu with my hurt wrist... I think Osu is WHY my wrist is damaged. but I'll using osu to get more songs for itunes
EVEN BETTER

Nope, I was sarcastically poking fun at when @Jason the Yoshi
roleplayed as Applejack when he was praked. And in the same post I did that to @Cap'nChreest antics of roleplaying as anime chicks when pranked.

Wrong again. I'm not even going to bother with my usually light-hearted Phoenix Wright debate post here.
You say that it's a unique and interesting art style. I want you to take a look at the previous generations of My Little Pony.
Generation 1:
Generation 2:
Generation 3:
Now compare those to Generation 4.
Compared to the others, I think everyone can see a different both in animation quality and animation style. Whereas the others looked more equine-like by our world's standards, these ones are less bulky, more cartoony. Furthermore, a simplistic animation style like that used in Adventure Time has been done many, many times before.
Black Lines around the character, simple dots for eyes and expressions, 4 digits per hand... where have I seen that before?
Oh, right.... in just about everything Cartoon Network has ever done.
Adventure Time's art isn't innovative, it's sloppy and poor. It's visuals and sublines are indicative of a 4-year old on crack laughing at a fart joke. Not to mention the amount of immoral innuendo in it which does not belong on children's programming. And yes, both My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Adventure Time are children's programming; don't try to deny it.
But here's the kicker; what Japan considers. Despite what the anime purists think, Japan considers all animation, from Dragon Ball Z to Vintage Disney to SpongeBob to The Simpsons to My Little Pony to be "anime" - which, quite literally means, animation. To say that any show is poor due to it not being in a particular style is to say that your style is superior to all other art forms in the genre of animation.
Furthermore, knowing you, Mega Bidoof, you haven't given My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic a proper chance. You dismiss it as "a child's show" when by watching Adventure Time and Gravity Falls, you are watching something also meant for children. You are picking and choosing, and that's a flawed philosophy. At least I sat down and watched a good Season of both of those series before making formal judgement.
The reason I like My Little Pony's current generation is because it's gender-neutral; it's got lovely animation, and mature writing. The morals and themes match up with my own; and an example of the mature writing I speak of is in this season's episode "Tanks for the Memories" - an episode involving the pain of loss. In it, Rainbow Dash goes through the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance; granted; she didn't actually lose her beloved pet, he just went to hibernate, but the episode is trying to show it in a more friendly way.
Moreso, I watch it because I can relate to the characters, and because it makes me laugh. I'm willing to bet you watch Gravity Falls and Adventure Time for the sole reason of it makes you laugh. I've seen it, the story is filled with poorly-written tropes and unfunny jokes that are more suited for a Family Guy episode than about a boy and his dog.
I've seen a few MLP episodes, and I can openly admit I found a few jokes funny. But I cringed way more than I laughed. It exceeds at being good content for it's target audience, you know, for the little girls that watch the Hub.
Meanwhile I can enjoy the content in shows like Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, and Steven Universe (as an added example) since they are meant for everyone.

Some episodes are admittably worse than others. In the end, it's all a matter of opinion, but to say any one style is superior based on preference is a flawed argument. And our fandom is a vocal one. We like the cartoon ponies. We like to make the cartoon ponies into new situations. If our fandom spills into another, we can hardly control it, so to blame the entire fandom and say we are all annoying is equally flawed as Bidoof's arguments.
Edit: Furthermore, the current generation MLP IP is designed to be enjoyed by children of both genders and parents alike. So they won't cringe when they have to watch it with their little prince or princess.
