Yo, back from the tournament. Here's the synopsis:

ROUND 1
1st match: me () vs. my opponent () vs. my friend ()
Stomped both of them, moved up to ROUND 2.

Notable matches:
My other friend () played really well for someone who hasn't played Smash since January.
The owner of the Wii U who always wins every year () scored a double kill with 's hammer.

ROUND 2
In an effort to save time, the hosts decided an 8 player match (whoopee~)
I picked for this match and the first 4 players get to move up to Semi's.

...I got in 5th.

, a really good , , and moved up. I was knocked out.

SEMI FINALS
Free-for-all between vs.vs.vs.. died pretty quickly and was hit by an unlucky charged shot from . was spacing out but eventually claimed victory.

FINALS
vs.
Pretty exciting but both players rolled more than in a shuttle loop. ended up winning and the host decided to give the prize to since wins every year.

Ironically, if it had been a 1v1 or a free for all, I might have had a better chance since I played the main and his friend and destroyed both of them in a friendly.

I also beat the main 15:3 in the morning.

TL;DR 8 Player Smash is a dream eater; even though I lost, my skills struck fear into the winners.

Anyways, I had fun and I got to crack jokes.

Sad part is that Konami will still get money even without making console games.

They get more profit from pachinko machines than from making a Metal Gear or Silent Hill or from selling Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.
