1. Why can't they just remove the cigarette instead of making it worse? Funimation remove it back when it aired on tv.

2. The rice ball edits are freaking hilarious but dumb at the same time.

And if they really want to get rid of the rice balls in One Piece, then why didn't they edit them out in this particular scene?

I mean, yeah, they're silly. Of course they are. But when I was a kid, I barely had any idea what a "Japan" was, let alone a Rice Ball, and when I saw them in Melee and Kirby's Air Ride, all I could think was; "...the **** is that thing?"

Maybe you're right about that, but frankly I have a low bull**** threshold for 4Kids due to all the horrible unnecessary edits that ruin the experience and the message of their shows.

I just don't like if they're marketing those shows to an audience that isn't worth explaining cultural differences to, they should be dubbing Dora the Explorer, not Dragon Ball Z.

I think editting things like that is bad since it implies we shouldn't be open to cultural differences because they are kids.

That is a good thing for kids to learn that more than one life style or culture exists.
