Not targetting you, just people here and IRL in general. People complain about "today's music" being trash but it's really only mainstream music they even listen to. There is "todays music" in every other genre, but the vast majority of people refuse to give other genres a chance, so judging it based on mainstream just doesn't work.

I gave rap a chance, I hate rap to death, Oldies aren't "todays" music so that doesn't count, I mostly Like only Japanese and Oldie. Not a big fan of the electronic music either but there was dubstep like music in Lost World and Triple deluxe and I liked those

If you give it a chance and genuinely don't like it then that is fine.

This is just to people who complain about "today's music" and completely ignore the other genres out there as if they don't exist.

Oh, but there's some great today's music. However, it's rarely mainstream.
