I do want to go to Japan, but not live there. Probably because I don't know how to speak japanese.
I don't care anyway, France is the second most weeaboo country of the world, just after Japan.
...
Send help please.
I like Japanese stuff like anime, manga and such, but come on, I also have appreciation for my own heritage and homeland. >_>

The Japanese may be crazy awesome at times, sure, but Japan as a country also has its share of problems that shouldn't be overlooked.

I'd like to visit Japan one day, though I can say the same for a lot of other places in the world. I've already traveled enough throughout Europe to experience first-hand the vastness of the world.

They need to wake up and listen to Morpheus.
Exactly my point.

Japan isn't anime-land, despite what ignorant weebs may think. I've known stories of people moving to Japan because of anime, only to arrive there and being the receiving end of a reality-inducing punch. Those people don't last long there.

Whenever I listen to anime music and I see comments like "I wanna move to Japan" or "I wish I was born in Japan"...

It's people like this that give anime fans a bad name. >_>
That'd be as stupid as moving to the US only because Disney Channel cartoons.

Seriously, they don't want to go for the culture, or the traditions, or for historical and famous places, etc. Nope, they just want to go because of some cartoons that they can easily download and watch on the internet for free.

Funny you say that, I hear Disney is quite popular in Japan(or the characters at least).

Most people think Japan is just the place where there's animu and video games all over the place.
While in reality, it's a country of hardworkers who don't have a lot of time to have fun.

If you want to "live" in Japan, you have to like working. Of course, you have to like the country, people, traditions, learn the language, found a place to actually live and a job to pay your stuff.

Welcome to reality, weeabs.

Hey, nice doodle! Also, aren't you the nichijou guy? I remember you!
Yeah, I'm the Nichijou guy who's trying to make a Nichijou manga but still need to find an artist, so he draws doodles instead.

Yeah, I'm that guy.

Welp, they opened a Disney Park in Tokyo and last time I heard their movies have a nice reception there. Oh, and I've seen some Disney products exclusive to Japan.

Not to mention Disney inspired the creation of anime.

I watched Mega Man Upon A Star a while back and the characters mentioned Japan's absurd school schedule like they were proud of it.

I was just like:

DO NOT WANT .

Not if you have a crappy job.
Why do you think there's a lot of depressive people in France ? :dk64:
I dunno, I like working. I may complain about school, or those times when a customer is just obnoxious, but I do enjoy it. I guess it's mainly because I'm a bored teenager though. If I still had my grocery job 30 years from now, I'd probably feel different.

Trust me, I know people who don't like their job. My dad for example was stuck for a long time with a crappy job that wasn't paid well and the people working with him weren't really friendly (more annoying than anything). It's only this year that he could his job to find an other one better.

I mostly heard that France kinda has a similar mindset with Japan, but less strict. Work is important, but you have to enjoy your job, otherwise, say hello to the sweet feel of boredom and "Idontwantthisjobanymorepleaseletmego".

Weird feeling, isn't it ?

It appears that my family has decided that the best way to wake me up is to shine bright lights directly into my eyes.

Goooooooooood morning. Oh how I would love to take a vacay in Japan for a week or two. I've heard a lot about the place, but honestly you learn the most when you're seeing the culture, traditions, and work that other people have seen first-hand.
Plus, I like adventure.

So what's up? :starman:

All this talk about Japan made me remember I needed to check stuff about Japanese schools for my project.

Nichijou doesn't have a real timeline. Events happens in chronological order (only in the manga, the anime took them weirdly) but no indication of the date except for Nano's and Hakase's birthday are present.
However, the Ace Attorney series has a date to everything. So I have to find the perfect date where it would still be logical for the protagonists to still be together and not change classes.

And let me tell you, the Japanese school years are totally different than ours. Instead of starting school in September, like in France or America, they start school in April. And they end school in March.

SO ! I have to find a date that is after Pheonix Wright is disbarred (May 13th) and the Shinonome's birthday (August 7th). So in short, in September.

Cultural differences blows my mind, help !
