See, that's the situation I'm stuck in. It's not bad (I'm certainly not a dolt), but I do have a lack of structure on top of certain areas I have problems in (like social skills, but that's more of my personality). And especially for college that's going to be my biggest flaw.

Well, I honestly think that college is generally mostly kinda a racket. But you probably don't care for my opinion on that :P. There are remedial courses in college too. As for social, you seem to be an introvert like the rest of us! :D
There are a lot of alternative education opportunities. This kinda ties into the social aspect, but there's nothing stopping you from finding a good trade school or skill or going out and doing something generally social with like-minded people (like Smash tourneys or something!). If you can dream it, you can do it, I believe.
