Basically this. One thing that a psychologist can't do is make the patient want their help. The patient needs to be willing to take their advice and treatments, and listen to them. They can't help those who don't want help, in other words.

That's so typical of them. One time, a psychiatrist tried that same method on me after slapping me with a raw fish. I refused the meds, and TP'd his house later that day. Always go with the red pill, never the blue. They hate it.
