It's hilarious if you like random crazy humor.

Also, really, the only other anime I can recommend is Steins;Gate.

Unless of course, you've already watched that as well.
...*blush* I've seen a lot of anime.

But thank you Blargg! (:

I need to go rewatch Astro Boy (2003). It was one of the first shows I've watched on Netflix and I need to finish it. Its a pretty good anime (and from what I heard better than the original 1963 show)

You're welcome!

Though I'm curious, have you seen Steins;Gate?
Because I really do highly recommend it.
I mean, unless you're implying that you can't remember, which is fine.

Also, have you seen Rebellion as well, or just Madoka's episodes?

I dunno, I'm just curious.

Oh you could watch Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic/Magi: The Kingdom of Magic

Its not horror but its good
I see that one a lot, in MEPs and anime-mashup AMVs, it definitely looks interesting.

Funnily enough, watching MEP's has gotten me into finding quite a bit of anime.

I really think I need to broaden my horizons; it's just occurred to me that the number of anime I've seen is equal to the number of Madoka spin-offs I've read.

Anyone have any suggestions for anything (be it TV show, cartoon, anime, whatever) that is no more than 15 episodes?

Also, have you seen Rebellion as well, or just Madoka's episodes?

I dunno, I'm just curious.
The ending of Rebellion is the best ending. So glad Urobuchi threw out the other cliched, boring one.

Depends on the genre you are looking for. I can help you with anything but horror.

Whaaaat? I think I might just do that.

I was implying that I have seen it, after all. I do not know what Rebellion is though.

Genre's not important to me, though I do like tragedy.

Rebellion is the (technically 3rd) Madoka movie that follows the events after the anime. You'll either like it, or hate it. There is no middle ground. It also has the best song for Final Destination:

Oh that's what it is called? I was actually already planning on watching it this week lol. Now I know I have to for sure.

Rebellion is the 3rd Madoka Magica movie.
Unlike the first two Madoka movies, (Which were just the episodes, but reanimated and redubbed) Rebellion is a completely different plot, and is really good.

If you haven't watched it, you should.

I'm sure Kermit- I mean, Motorcyle the Pooh would agree with this.

So, uh...

D-do any of you read books?
**** YEAH! BOOKS!

*ahem*

I'm re-reading 1984 but I'm reconsidering whether or not its among my favorites. I forgot how dry the early parts were.

Hunger Games.
Unwind.
I Am Number Four.
Truancy trilogy.
Wake trilogy.

These are the only ones I have read purely for pleasure in the past, say 5-6 years. Unless I missed some.

Not counting school books, although I loved Catcher In the Rye!

Of course. I've been reading substantially less since I got my GameCube, but I love a good book every now and then. I'm super excited to read Hamlet this coming school year. That's gonna be fun. The Disaster Artist was also a good read.

I loved Catcher In the Rye!
HOW?

I didn't like the Hunger Games or Harry Potter books. Both series were pretty bland and the lead characters were dull.

Wait you really hated it?

Also, some recommendations for you:

Anohana

Elfen Lied

To start.

Dang, now that I've brought up Steins;Gate, I suddenly have the urge to watch it again.
Especially after the announcement that they're making another game and a new season of the anime.

I love Hacking to the Gate.

Holden Caulfield is my second least favorite character in anything ever made. Ever. If he didn't exist, the book would be fine. Oh wait, he's the "protagonist." -__-

I'll look into those, thanks!
