I remember my first days of gaming. I started later than most, with Pokemon Pearl on the DS. Soon, my interest grew in Nintendo products. I have so much I wanna say to I want to say to Iwata, but none of that can bring him back...

You don't know how good something is until you've lost it.

I'll admit, I, must like many other people, have been skeptical of him in the recent years, due to their issues with development and the Wii U's struggles. Of course, like many others I wasn't a fan of our recent E3 direct. But even with his faults, he was, at heart, a wonderful person. He was someone who was more like a gamer than I can say for just about any other video game president.

He's given so much to us, and what have we done to him recently?

"Fire Iwata, he's no good! He's ruining the company!"

The fans said this without even paying attention to the deterioration of his physical health. Of course, so much of this was kept secret, so we can't necessarily blame them either. But we should have been a little more considerate to his health. I wasn never an Iwata detractor myself, but I feel guilty for the stress we caused him.

In the end, like he said, he IS a gamer, someone who understands how they work. He did so much for the industry, and for that he will be missed.

I can almost imagine, Iwata saying to us all, as he goes to a better place:

"Please understand"

Telling us to be strong and to have faith in Nintendo.

spent all day practicing drawing.
its actually... going a bit better.

i did a few others but i think this is the best looking so far. it started looking better when i stopped using lines for everything and began drawing every detail.
