So, Pikachu can use Skull Bash throughout the Smash series, but here's what's interesting about it: Pikachu can only use that move in Red/Blue, where it's a TM. Or in Gold/Silver, via trade with Red/Blue.

Since Gen III that Pikachu can no longer have Skull Bash, yet Smash Bros. has always kept the move. Especially curious as Pikachu also has Volt Tackle as its Final Smash, a move that was introduced in Gen III, ironically enough.

In Melee, Pichu also uses this move, even though it's impossible to have a Pichu with Skull Bash in any game.

A similar situation happens with Mewtwo and Teleport. Mewtwo can only learn Teleport in Gen I via TM and has never been able to use it in Gen III onward. In Smash 4, he has Psystrike and Mega Mewtwo Y from Gen V and Gen VI as its Final Smash.

Posting about how Diddy shouldn't be nerfed is so much fun

All this talk about nerfing, and I'm here, just sucking at everyone and against everyone.

So in other news, I'm trying out Pokemon Rumble World.
I can't wait to indulge myself into the world of microtransactions.

Care to elaborate?
I'm not saying nerf Diddy to death, but he can be slightly altered without destroying his top tier status (hopefully)
Rosa as an example
Rosalina remained good because the core of her play (which is zoning with Luma) is still intact.

Diddy being "OP" centres around him being a fundamentally good character, having a varied and excellently cohesive moveset giving him the chance to approach each situation in several ways. If for example, you nerf any single aspect of his game, it will make him incredibly one dimensional. and if you nerf all his good moves, well then he becomes a bad character who can't do anything.

Diddy is good but tbh, people just struggle against him because they don't like to think about their defence, they just feel that holding shield or rolling mindlessly should be enough.

That last part is very true
imo Diddy isn't "OP"
Brawl MK is OP
Diddy isn't impossible to deal with, however his varied moveset and options outclass most of the cast
Either the lower and mid half of the cast is buffed or Diddy is nerfed
Surely you don't think Diddy should be left untouched, but the former seems unlikely
He is a well rounded character, but toooooo many chars have to work on racking up damage, getting kills, etc.
Correct me if i'm wrong lol

No I totally agree that a lot of the cast is in dire need of buffing lol. It's been my main gripe with this game since day 1, not enough characters have the ability to just do basic things.

It's like every time I turn this damn game on, I lose my sense of self-worth a little bit faster.
