I haven't played a Sonic game in a long time minus retro games. I have no plans to play this even if I ignored the train wreck the first batch of Sonic Boom made.

Guys, I haven't played smash since melee, so as you can imagine I'm extremely rusty. Basically all the combos, and fundamentals I know are strictly from watching streams/videos. So my question is, how long should I practice before trying for glory and A's ladder? I know I'll need a lot of practice, but I'm just curious.

I usually get every Sonic game and play them since is one of my most favorite video game characters of all time. But I did skip out on Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric and Shattered Crystal and Sonic 2006. I've watched the TV series (which is probably the best thing that came out of this side series) and read some of the comics too and I would like try out a Sonic Boom video game soon cuz video games are more important to me than any of the aforementioned mediums. Fire and Ice shows promise, but I'll wait before making any final decision.

I think it really depends on the character that you are maining. I say a good two weeks before trying trying for glory and A ladder. You should work on you reading, because you really need good reads in this game.

If you're leaning towards, you should check the Ness boards for match up and what they changes they made to him from melee to smash 4. But I think ness is really good in this game many peoples seems to hate his throws though.

That's the status quo, tbh. When I played back then, not many liked to have actual conversations when battling.

It's worse when they finish the match prematurely, saying GG, before you even get to begin your sweep. Makes the win way less satisfying and why I got bored fighting via Showdown.

Well, I learned alot today.
1) They give you the questions like the previous installments, but this time they tease you about what you COULD'VE been in a roulette-like fashion
2) They like spawning alot of guys on you in one room.
3) ALOT of guys.
4) They ripped off Xenoblade Kappa
5) Wailord, holy ****.
6) Apparently two small, unevolved Pokemon have to fight the Pokemon equivelant of God and Satan.
7) Sounds fair.
8) There's probably gonna be another runaway segment which is very hard.

I wish I could just get this game in the distortion world already.
