I would know since my friend's dad's brother's wife's cousin worked at Nintendo for 4 months in 1998.

I'd be ok with Flying Man as a character, as long as he has an original moveset at the very least. Although i still would rather have Lucas back, or at least someone like Poo, Paula, Flint, Duster or MM anyway, but Flying Man is fine.

Although to be honest, if i really had to guess, maybe this 3D Flying Man is an assist trophy for when you're not on Magicant? Its possible, even if he is a stage hazard, i think it's possible.

How'd you like it if one of your fave characters got cut, doesn't return in Smash 4, but an overgrown pink bald turtle wearing women's shades gets in with the same name and now your fave is being the butt of overused jokes? Not only that, but the overgrown turtle may even stole have a crowd chant similar to what your fave character had and some other fighter has a colour swap that slightly resembles your fave's (and doesn't even have the same hair colour, c'mon!).

But we're not done yet. Now, imagine all of this done to your cut fave, but with the addition of every other cut veteran receiving trophies (except for Snake, but that's kinda understandable. And I believe Young Link doesn't have one, but Toon Link is a younger Link...hm). But does your fave character get a trophy? Lolnope, despite a Japanese-only cut vet getting one.

Yes, Roy (FE) fans got **** on, to be blunt. It's possible Roy could receive a trophy on the Wii U version... but I'm not holding my breath. Also, I find it strange that we don't have any Golden Sun content, iirc. Golden Sun does have 2 games on Wii U VC though... so I don't think it's too much of a stretch to see an AT or whatever on the Wii U version.

This is really interesting... I'd really love to know what it says. Hopefully that 3D Flying Man isn't some scrapped concept. Too bad the quality's not very good. Usually we could tell if characters are ATs/whatever or not depending on the model. Also, would really like to know where this came.

But seriously, I'm confused as to why we have a 3D Flying Man. We could have the 2D one as an assist and it would work out fine. Think the Hammer Bros. being an assist and in Smash Run. This isn't some beta element is it?

they are only temporary party members in Earthbound. They don't have any real significance.
I think they had a similar small role in Mother.
