The Nintendo franchise that definely deserves to be revived are:

Nazo No Murasame Jo

Ice climbers

And the Starfy series

Anyone can think a Nintendo franchise, that needs to be revived?
I'd say Uniracers, but Pixar would probably try to sue again.

My top picks would be Ice Climber, F-Zero and Nazo No Murasame Jo.

I'd love to see Captain Rainbow or perhaps a sequel (that's actually localized). The premise is interesting and just needs to be expanded on -- I mean you're some average (and funny looking) dude running around helping Nintendo characters with their various troubles. How awesome is that, especially helping a Nintendo hero? I'd totally ask for their autograph after.

Oh, Doshin the Giant too. Love these weird yet awesome games. There's just so many that I'd love to see lol.

Only Miiverse users do. :troll:
Funny, I don't recall ever being on Miiverse. Seriously though, **** you guys. There's nothing wrong with people wanting and liking something you don't.

That aside, what's going on in he--...Hm. Not much, I see. o_o

Still holding out the dream that the Ice Climbers will one day get a big 3D platformer game on the Wii U or 3DS, something like that.
Imagine an Endless Mode for Ice Climbers. It'd be hell, but someone's bound to reach the moon.

I meant something like along the lines of New Super Mario Bros. Still a 2D platformer and all but with entirely different and updated graphics.
Ah, that makes sense. Yeah, that'd be pretty neat.

A lot of series could use that kind of treatment, honestly. :<

I don't get this

For this phone, it cost $200 up front or $34 for 20 months

34 x 20 = $680

Either pay $200 now or $680 but between months?

Why pay the $680?

A 3D Ice Climbers? How would that even work?
Like so.

Except less sexy. :p

Agreed. It's about time we teach Ca$hcom a lesson and finally get a new mega an game.
The irony is that Capcom is capable of making good games. Lost Planet 1 and 2 were good, Dragon's Dogma is fun, and their past games like Godhand and Onimusha were all good even though they were flawed. Then came this generation of stupidity.

I guess for the same reason mortgage is a thing, but this is a pretty small scale for that.
Also a really damn high interest.

I'd make a 3D collectathon platformer out of the Ice Climbers. Like Banjo.

I'd make anything like Banjo.

But I don't work for Nintendo.

I tried playing Lost Plane before... Wasn't able to get into it all that well.

I'd go and work for Nintendo, give devs some ideas, pitch my character to them, and make the game for the supported handheld console. :troll:

Well, uh, I don't know. xD

It's a weird series as a whole from what Capcom did. The first was sort of a survival game since you constantly needed to collect energy to keep yourself warm and alive. The second was like Monster Hunter but with guns and grappling lines. The third was a generic shooter from what I heard - okay, but not impressive. Each game basically tosses you a different play style. I never played the first, but I tried the demo for the second and I liked it, but I would prefer the survival aspect and I would rather play Monster Hunter or Dragon's Dogma for the visceral effect of beating monsters to death over shooting them.

Just hold out for A Hat In Time.
Hat Kid for Smash 5.
Not unless it comes out on the Wii U.

Though it doesn't look that good to begin with.

Brilliant idea, a bird with a bear on his back. Eh? Eehhh?

It's been getting some pretty good reviews. No idea on the progress of their application/whatever to Nintendo, although I've heard they've been fairly open to indie developers lately.

The only one I tried was the first and the pacing was just bad. Rather slow game, which isn't bad in and of itself but the mechanics of the game didn't compliment the slowness that well and made it rather boring.

Didn't know the other games have vastly different gameplay though.

Well, spoilers for an old game: Lost Planet 1 ends with the planet getting heated up so Lost Planet 2 takes place in a jungle while Lost Planet 3 takes place somewhere else with perpetual snow or something.

Yeah, I remember seeing Lost Planet 1 and it did look slow which was probably intentional since you don't want to waste energy in extreme climates and because it's just difficult to move in snowy terrain, especially with a ton of gear. I remember one country lost to another because the other were skiing - not kidding - and the loser were all clad in heavy, metal armor.

Well, amiibo is confirmed to be used in Smash 3DS. That was...good I guess. It was obvious the moment the Japanese Direct said that, but it's nice to have another official confirmation.

Ah, yes, good communication which Square Enix has not been doing for some stupid reason. Final Fantasy XV was shown with the ability to play as different characters, but then they recently said that Noctis is the main playable character or something similar that implies he's the only playable character like how Kingdom Hearts usually features one playable character and you can never switch on the fly. With the recent gameplay trailers, it looks like it, but it also might refer to FF's use of a central character who's controlled for towns and such like how Tidus, Vaan, etc. were the "map" characters, but you could control whoever during combat.

The fact they don't debunk or make note of changes in concrete details makes it even worse since nobody knows what the hell is going on. DmC: Devil May Cry's usage of reboot, origin story, etc. is better since at least you knew that DmC would have hack 'n' slash gameplay like past Devil May Cries.

Let's not mention the recent note of the playable characters being all male. They don't say if that's the starting party since once again Cor Leonis, the other playable character, is never shown and who knows, maybe we'll have secret party members like in FFVII with Yuffie and Vincent.

Damn English for being an ambiguous language. Now I really would rather live in a French-speaking or not ambiguous language-speaking country.

Speaking of ambiguity, wasn't this an issue with Sakurai giving strange answers or something?
