Just got the demo a while ago. Mega Man is really fun to use. I'm not all that good, but I've gotten a few clean wins against, level 9 Pikachus and Links. I almost never fight level 9's though, not sure why. It's a bit harder to counter Mario though, since he has a reflector.
It's also fun to put up a Leaf Shield and then grab someone. And I managed to throw link upwards and have him fall into the Spark Needles three times in a row. Three separate times on top of that.
My only issue is that the 3DS circle pad is weird to use for Smash. But holy hell, this makes me want a Wii-U. I can't imagine what that version will feel like. Nintendo's almost got me.

It's not bad at all, but I'm definitely not bored since I'm taking my time to learn just how playing as Mega Man works.
Gotta be ready to beat my bros tomorrow.

I played about 15-20 matches on the demo with all the available characters.
I liked all of them. Except for maybe Link. He's too slow.
Mario is very versatile, I feel. He really is a pick-up-and-play character now.
Pikachu is really fast and fun to use. His recovery sucks though.
Mega Man is really, really fun. He's just hard to used to.
Lastly, Villager is the best character ever. No question.

I've already figured out how he works for the most part, and I sure as hell know how to use him against Mario, Villager, and Link.
The Buster went from awkward to use at the Smash Fest demo to an insanely fun approach tool in this demo.
You've just got to know when to throw out certain moves. I feel as though I grab with him more often too.

I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna turn off my 3DS. Just have it glued to an outlet when I'm too tired to play. I should use Mario, since he's my other go-to in this game. But Mega Man is my guy, muh dood, the main man.
His throws are fun to use too. But I need to dodge more often with him, or anyone really. Man, this game is already so awesome. When I pick it back up, I'll try some more Mega Man. I'm no pro guy though. But the only thing noteworthy I can throw out there is that Leaf Shield + Throw is pretty nice. I should try and see if I can put a Up-Smash in there too.

I don't think Ornstein would work that well as a Palutena clone. He's more about lightning than what magic Palutena has, and he has a way more physical fighting style as well.
Everyone else would work though.

It would be the perfect punishment for all of the deaths and rage he's caused. Almost single-handedly.
Although as incredibly out there as it is, Smough as a clone of Dedede is the most perfect fit.

The only real problem is the some of these characters wouldn't be fully represented by being clones. But sure, I'll go along.
