The problem with leakers is that you can't really say who is viable and who isn't. As far as the Ninka leak goes, I don't remember the people involved outright saying the roster wasn't final but that it could be a possibility.
The idea behind more characters being revealed as the WiiU version is obviously interesting (who could say no to more content, especially since it's free?), but so far, it has sadly no real basis.

However, I do believe DLC is going to happen one day. It doesn't please me in the slightest, but I don't see Nintendo not taking the occasion to sell additional characters, especially since a lot of people have the bad habit of going bonkers over the roster. Myself included.

Pretty much. A lot of the appeal of Smash Bros. is the idea of so many characters coming together to fight it out. And it's usually a once in a console generation kind of thing too. So with that being the case, Nintendo wanting to make some extra bank by expanding on this a idea a little further would make most people happy. Or at the very least can hold them over a little longer until the next generation Smash game. This would be one of the few games where DLC could make me interested.

Well, some of the Injustice DLC was okay. And by that, I mean Martian Manhunter was hype. Too bad Lobo was low tier.

As for the Wii-U exclusive stuff that can get added to the 3DS through something, I'm not buying it. Not until we see something that could support this idea.

Ice Climbers, Lucas and Wolf are the cuts that hurt me the most.

Tell me about it. Wolf was one of the better examples on how to make a clone. Well, I Doc back and you got Dark Pit, so it could be worse.

If we're talking old characters, I'd like to see Wolf and Ice Climbers. New characters could be anyone and I can't say I'd mind too much. Hell, Kraid would actually be a cool idea, for just how weird he is.

'Pic of the Day. 3 weeks ago I told you about the first DLC pack. I'm happy to announce Pichu, Roy and Young Link will return as playable characters! This pack will be 4.99$ and will be buyable via the e-Shop, starting February 22, 2015.'

I never considered Wolf and Lucas as clones. The special attacks and Final Smash are the only things similar to Fox and Ness. The normal moves are drastically different from each another.

Besides Dark Pit, I got Robin and Greninja.

Even their final smashes are different. Lucas' starstorm fell at less of an angle, and Wolf's Tank didn't last as long. I'll miss Lucas, but I have Robni, Lucina, and Shulk. I'll get over it eventually.

I'm not crossing my fingers for a Snake trophy. It would be nice, but I dunno, I feel like if they were to pay for licencing and crud, he's be playable.

It could be just like Rayman's trophy, I think.

If we're talking non-clones. All I need to mention is Hype Man, AKA Mega Man AKA Rock Man AKA Super Fighting Robot. And the list of nicknames goes on.

Obviously, I'd prefer Ridley, since he could likely offer more as a character. And is more or less the main villain of the series. But Kraid would be so trollish I wouldn't even care anymore.

Also if we're talking Prime Hunters Weavel or bust. He's a robot Space Pirate. And it'd be about time we put his Laser Sword arm to good use.

What did you expect from a last minute clone?

At least he doesn't use the Three Sacred Treasures. Functionally, it's the same thing as Zelda's, sure, but it is based on his personal abilities nonetheless.

Hi, so im pretty hype for smash3ds and i got street fighter recently. what ive noticed, probably because of how big my hands are after about 20 mins of online play with street fighter my hands cramp up and hurt. i have a regular purple 3ds. with smash3ds being my main way of playing until i get a wii u eventually i want to get a better 3ds. but what would be a better choice, the 2ds or a 3ds XL ?

The only time I see a horror game is if it's really awful. To the point where anything that could be considered scary is turned into laughter.

R.O.B's side-b looks like it isn't useless now! It racks up damage quickly, enemies can get caught in it instead of just being grazed on the edge of the attack and it has a kind of finisher at the end of it. I have a feeling that on it's own (as well as his buffed f-smash I guess) it will improve his viability quite a bit, though of course its too early to say.

Consecutive attacks in general are getting buffs, either from the weakened DI or the more accumulated hits. Which I don't mind because I did feel those attacks were pretty flimsy in both Melee and Brawl.
