Marth has a costume using Roy's clothes. So we still got a reference to him. I think Toon Link has an outfit based upon ALBW's Link's style. It's "a" young Link, I guess.

Wasn't young link from melee based off of Majoras Mask young link?

Also, I don't think the trophies mean anything in regards to DLC. If anything, the fact that ICs, Dixie and Mewtwo all have new models could be a hint at who was considered...

IC's model is Brawl's, Mewtwo's is Pokedex 3D Pro (or whatever that was called), and I can't comment on Dixie's because I haven't really played any DK games. As far as I know, many of the trophy models are taken from somewhere else with some exceptions like Dr. Wily or Rayman.

I'd be disappointed if he did that.

Everyone already knows.

He could just put a question mark or add a unlockable characters section.

Chances are only the hardcores really know, some people have completely sworn off the internet until the American release.
On a side note, I think the lvl. 9 AI are WAY more vicious in this game. I like it.

It's probably only a minority that have sworn themselves not to find out about the secret characters

And dang, now I see what people were saying about a "Roy palette" (far right)

He has the purple scarf that Roy has in Melee, as well as the white pants and blue boots. All he needs is the dark red hair.

Poor Roy. Got "replaced" by another Marth clone, had another character named Roy get in over him, and now even one of his own pallete swaps got stolen.

I'd say that Snakey must be sad right now, but he still has Roy in Project M, so I guess it's not that bad.

IMO if Roy would have been in, he should be an Ike clone instead. With red flames and all. He can keep his old neutral B though, I love making that giant kaboom.

Things just aren't going his way.

I never thought he'd return, so that palette swap makes me really happy. Now if we got a Roy trophy, my hype would go through the roof.

Thats why so many hope for DLC to fill in the gaps. In this day and age it shouldnt be too hard to expand the roster post-release, but thats Sakurai's call. As long as I dont have to buy a new edition of the game just to download them... (srsly Arc system, staph)

Yes, he did try to do it, but knew he couldn't do it.

He's well aware all of the Smash characters have fans (this includes the oft-hated clones), but development time limits didn't allow him to make them all return.

I'm sure it doesn't just suck for us. If I were in his place, I wouldn't feel happy about it either.

Wow... Dark Pit's final smash looks neat. Like Zelda's and Sheik's.

Toon Link having Triforce Smash is somewhat logical, I guess.
Falco not having an Arwing is dumb.
