Would you rather have a game that is less polished or a game that comes on early 2016? I would rather take a polished game now please.

Early 2016 for a bunch of costumes? Come on now. I'd gladly sacrifice Lucina for a few decent costumes anyway.
It's obvious now that Sakurai truly is against alt costumes and just made them where they're basically inevitable (Robin, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, the only exeption is Little Mac really) and that's it. He even made Dr. Mario his own character when an alt costume was much more than we needed. He just doesn't like making them for some reason and prefers to give the characters alt colors which don't mean **** 100% of the time. Where the **** is Dry Bowser? We have Green Bowser now what the **** is that.

I don't see why DLC costumes are out of the question.
There are a lot of things before they happened I would have said "that's ridiculous" but they happened anyway.

Like Lucina having colors based on other Awakening characters, or hell, Lucina in the first place.

Pic of the day. Looking at the number of days we have left for development, it would be an impossible task to create this… That's what I told my staff. But thanks to the determination of her female designer, these Zero Suit outfits got completed in time. From the ending of Metroid: Zero Mission, here's Samus in shorts!

It did about as well as Sony expected. So it didn't do badly when you think of it that way. Sony was actually impressed. Just not as well as it should/could have.

If one legit complaint about the game can ruin you're excitement, it's not my problem.
And no he didn't do all he could. He ****ing didn't. You deal with the fact that the game is not perfect.

But a green palette swap doesn't mean Toon Bowser is playable, nor that he's referenced. It just means that you can play as a green Bowser. It's excruciatingly lame and I hope they didn't try to reference this and it's just a coincidence because damn.

He did though. Don't you realize the amount of fanservice he put into these alts? Like Lucina's alts resembling female characters from Fire Emblem Awakening, FD Link, Chrom Ike, Roy Marth, can't you accept the amount of fanservice put into these things. And no it isn't perfect, but it will certainly be more so than Melee and Brawl. And would you like some fries with that salt?

Dude, I understand your plight since I'm a little disappointed about Sonic's colors myself but...seriously, you're exaggerating. The game is imperfect and ruined because not everyone has major costume alts? That's going a little too far.

Costumes or not, decent colors or not, this game is amazing. We are all going to love playing this game and won't be able to put it down probably until the next one comes out many years later. Don't go all "ruined forever" just because you didn't get what you wanted.

I think some of the colors and outfits are a little BS too, but I'm not gonna cry all day about it. It's just a game, seriously. Lighten up and get over it because it's not like the gameplay is ruined and you're still going to love the game once you get it.

Well, too bad. Not everyone has the same tastes, standards and expectations as you. The Light Suit and Dark Suit color skins look good, so as far as I'm concerned, that's close enough. Sure Dark Samus is already there as an Assist Trophy instead of an alt, but whatever. It's no big deal. Nothing to be upset or disappointed over.

If you're mad and dissatisfied, that's fine. Say that you are. However, after you say it, make peace with said anger and move past it or keep it to yourself instead of acting like we all have to be angry with you. If you're still angry afterwards, that's your problem. No one else's.

I'm pretty sure anyone who's played Shovel Knight wants it to happen. He could have such a cool playstyle and use the relics for some of his moves (Propeller Dagger for UpB, Dust Knuckles for Side Smash, etc.)

Just Chop down a tree, have your bud reflect it, then PICK UP THE TREE FOR LATER USE.

Dude, just wait for Super Smash Bros. Unity. We actually got the rights from the developers and are very interested in our project. They actually can't wait to see what we have done with him.

I call it more a expectation based on a premise that didn't have a lot going for it to begin with.

The premise did not have a lot going for it aside from a modern standard. However, that was always the biggest clue that it was never going to happen. Sakurai wants to distance Smash from traditional fighting games, so it would be illogical to include a (semi-unique) costume for everyone. Albeit, once he asserted the blatantly awkward, "it would be nearly impossible to make this ZSS costume without the efforts of one of my female designers," it should have been apparent that he does not know how to make costumes in a timely manner. Apparently it is a huge ordeal for his team.
